Titlow Beach Park is the best beach I've been to for low tide in the Tacoma area. Check the tide charts online for low tide times, a negative low tide is best. Harbor seals & sea lions utilize the shoreline as well. DO NOT DISTURB OR GO CLOSE TO THEM, ITS THE LAW! They have their pups in the spring & summer so make sure and keep your kids close since they may want to run up and hug these little cuties, and that could be detrimental. Remember, look but don't touch the crabs, sea stars, and any other critters. It's not good for the sea life. The park is very large, grassy & has tennis & basketball courts, playfields, trails, spraygrounds, playgrounds & picnic areas. The historic Titlow Lodge, formerly the Hotel Hesperides , constructed in 1911, a central feature of the park. The park is 75 acres & improvements were finished in early 2017. ~ #Tacoma #253 #GritCity #CityOfDestiny #TacomaWashington #tacomawa #VisitTacoma #exploretacoma #movetotacoma #GetOutAndEnjoyTacoma #GetToKnowTacoma #TacomaBeaches #TacomaParks #starfish #sealifephotos #beaches #pnw #pnwbeaches #StayStellarTacoma #StayStellar #LeeHeath @tacomatalks (at Titlow Beach Park)
