Taco salad is a tasty and filling meal that combines the flavors of tacos with those of a fresh salad. It's great for a quick dinner or a dish that everyone at the party will love.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 packet taco seasoning mix. 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed. 1 cup corn kernels frozen or canned. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup diced red onion. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup salsa. Tortilla chips for serving.
Instructions: Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-low heat until it turns brown and breaks up. Get rid of extra fat. Follow the directions on the package to add the taco seasoning mix and water to the cooked beef. After you stir the mixture well, let it cook for a few minutes until it gets thicker. Dice the tomatoes, red onion, black olives, cilantro, and put them in a large bowl. Add the black beans and mix them in. Gather the sour cream and salsa in a small bowl. Mix them together to make the dressing. Put some tortilla chips on each plate before you start putting the salad together. Add the beef mix and the bean, corn, and tomato mix on top. Put some of the sour cream-salsa dressing on top of each salad. Serve your homemade taco salad right away and enjoy it!
