Month Two

I feel like the second month was longer than the first. Hands down. It’s also been a somewhat easier month. Nothing major has happened. We’ve just been coasting and waiting, eagerly, to hear anything from the medical examiner. I have gushed to you all before about how much I admire @wreathsbyemmaruth. Well, I knew I wanted one of her wreaths, and I knew she had the skills to merge our crazy little collection of things the represent and remind us of Milo. Here is the wreath I had her make for us combining Moana and Avocados. I’m so happy with it and can not wait to get it. ❤️🌺🥑. #Repost @wreathsbyemmaruth (@get_repost) #formilo #tacosformilo ・・・ I want to share with you about an inspiring and beautiful mommy Lauren who ordered this wreath. Her request was to combine the movie Moana and Avocados. My first thought was, "well this is a very interesting and odd combo". She went on to explain why she wanted to combine those two ideas and put them into a wreath. Recently Lauren's son Milo unexpectedly passed away just days shy of his first birthday and for no reason at all. Completely healthy. I can't even begin to imagine. He had a love for avocados and for the movie Moana. Lauren has also found a new love and comfort in the lyrics in the song "How far I'll Go" from Moana as well. She wanted this wreath to honor and remember her beautiful baby boy taken way to soon. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to create this piece for her. As some of you know October is infertility and infant loss awareness month. Lauren has started a blog to help her through her process.
