...I’m on day 43 and already MR8. Am I doing something wrong? Apparently you’re supposed to reach Uranus by MR4 but I only just got to it. Help
Oh, you’re fine!! As long as you’re making progress, I wouldn’t worry about it. One of my friends on their alt account already did Second Dream and War Within as a MR6 player but their main focus was to finish the main quests asap. While I can see how veteran players on alt account can get to Uranus at MR4, I wonder how actual brand new player (i.e. not player with alt accounts) can reach Uranus if they’re only MR4 unless they got help from other experienced players.
On our baby tenno my SO and I are on day 32, MR7, and ~45 hours in game, and we just opened Europa. Part of our newbie challenge is try not using too much outside help to better understand the new player experience. Instead of rushing the main quests and opening up all planets, we’ve been taking our time leveling junk while clearing as many planets as we can. Even with prior knowledge it’s still a struggle mainly because we don’t have endo and credit to fully level our essential mods (if we can manage to find the undamaged version to begin with).
Anyway, don’t worry about how fast or slow you’re progressing. MR isn’t important. Focus on having fun and opening new places/modes/features in game instead. If you need help in game, feel free to find me (xiaodenden). Good luck! :)
