Though she didn’t look like a Nohrian soldier—in fact, she looked more like a vagrant than anything else—Takumi could never be too careful. The presence of one who he did not recognize as Hoshidan only served to tense his muscles and heighten his senses. In the midst of the war against Nohr, taking any possible threats lightly could be a fatal mistake. While others may have been less intimidating, Takumi wasn’t one to beat around the bush. Divine weapon in hand, he scrutinized her with his piercing gaze, lips pressed into a thin line.
“Explain yourself! Are you a Nohrian?” Palms balled into fists around the grip of his bow, his mind threatening to form its bowstring. But no, not yet - he would give her a chance to come up with an alibi first. First impressions were hardly his strong point, but if she was innocent, he would be a bit more hospitable.
