17. Jeremy Headcanon
I think that Jeremy really loves breakfast. I think that having a sit down breakfast makes him proper happy and that in a way it reminds him (and will always remind him) of Noah.
It's more about the experience of sitting down in the morning with people rather than actually the act of eating. It doesn't matter if it's sweet or savoury (or, actually, don't Americans mix both, like pancakes with eggs and bacon?). Anyway, big cooked breakfasts. It breaks his heart that Jean sees these as unnecessary calories and unacceptably imbalanced nutrients, but after a little bit of research Jeremy finds something that will be acceptably sporty, healthy and balanced. Yogurt, fruit, honey, porridge, maybe the one (1) pancake and a couple of rashers of bacon with the fatty bits trimmed off (which you can do with British bacon, but I guess you can't with streaky American bacon...).
Something in the back of my head tells me that there is canonical evidence against Jeremy and breakfast, but I'll work around that.
18. Jean Headcanon
I think that Jean will inherit (from Cody, or from Derrick or Derek) an MP3 player, and even if Jean doesn't know what to do with it at first (and he does not really like the leftover songs that came with the device), but Xavier will mention when he sees him with it that he can download songs. Jean does not really think much about it, but one night he hears, for the first time in many years, some French song which is playing on the telly, and BOOM. It all clicks. Memories unblocked.
He goes to Cat, and asks about downloading, and he learns about torrents, and iTunes, and playlists... so he begins to investigate. There are many songs he remembers, but very few he can name. He spends nights googling half-remembered lyrics and waiting for files to download to check if he got the song right.
One night Jeremy sees him on his computer and comes around to ask what he is doing. Jean takes a second and bites his lip, but eventually he asks Jeremy to take a seat and he gives him one of his earphones, and he plays him his French songs
