Age: 18 Deck: Ice Barrier

Nix resides in Paradise City and was kept indoors since she was small due to her poor health. Since both her parents were often busy due to their work, she was introduced to Duel Monsters to give her something to do with her day. Her father was the one to help provide the pieces of her deck since they symbolized her favorite time of the year, Winter. It was something she always wanted to go outside to enjoy but never could because of the risks that came with it. Though soon dueling others over the internet wasn’t quite enough to give her the excitement and thrill she desired. So when she was watching Action Duels on the television one day, she became inspired by it. To be able to run around and do such amazing things while dueling was a dream come true! It was like being able to have your own adventure with every duel! Plus if she could do that then perhaps her parents would let her go outside just like everyone else.

When she asked about going to the local school, You Show, they declined and said she couldn’t handle the stress of it all. So Nix decided to take advantage of her parents usual schedule and habit of always calling her when they are on their way home. Since the school seemed close enough, she was going to attend during the hours she had while free of her parents watchful eyes. If the stress of it all was too much for her, then she would quit, but until then she saw it as the perfect way to better herself. If she could endure all the hard work then maybe it would help her body grow stronger and more accustomed to the outside. Though this meant that she would always have to hurry home as soon as her alarm went off or when her parents called. At least for now, she was getting to live her dream.
