Alright, my final thoughts. W tadc, but that musical portion has meaning.

“Isn’t she lovely” represents Pomni seeing Jax for who he really is. A stupid, misaligned, self hating person who pushed all his friends away and withered like a coward. But if that was all they were, Pomni wouldn’t have taken such a liking to them. Neither would Kaufmo, nor Ribbit. She’s a girl. In every meaning you can sap, in every angle you can look at it from. And in her final sane moments, I think she knew it too. There she is. With all her layers peeled. A girl, cocooned in her own flaws and insecurities. Wrapped up in self hatred and doubt and realizing that it was really all so simple. A new person, only a minute old. Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful?

And she definitely has her flaws, nobody needs to forgive her for anything, but I feel as if it would be stupid to water her down to an insecure man. If she wasn’t herself, her backstory would be that “he” revealed “himself” to a girl he liked, then pushed her away for no reason. That bow scene would mean nothing but a crush, and that’s so STUPID. It keeps the layers of herself wrapped up in a simple, misunderstood little package. And you won’t understand a show if you keep plot points so simple that way.
