When the Ottomans laid siege to Rhodes, this smart inventor held them off for months.
Tadini, who had trained first as a doctor and then as an engineer in the Venetian army, came to Rhodes specifically to fight the Ottoman empire. The first thing he did was eliminate the haphazard nature of military tunneling. He put the citizenry to work creating a well-planned underground network in and around the walls, making a kind of grid of established tunnels.

Born in Brazil to Italian parents…then going to a Chinese school where he learned to speak Mandarin…now settled in Los Angeles, it’s little wonder that Tadini’s music is a journey not only through his musical influences but also the sounds of the cultures he has been exposed to. With a wealth of experience both culturally and musically (a talented singer, keyboardist, guitarist and producer) Tadini has played in bands such as TüR and Mais 55 from his hometown of Sao Paolo and Skunk Oil in LA, before launching his latest endeavor with the debut single 'The Arsonist'. Starting with a Jack White-esque slide guitar smothered in spring reverb, La based rocker Tadini's debut single soon slaps you in the face with a giant guitar riff smashing its way out of your speakers. With a sound this big, its hard to believe that Tadini won't immanently a household name in the rock world... Sitting somewhere between Queens Of The Stone Age, Led Zeppelin and Jack White, The Arsonist has a classic rock feel while still capturing a fresh originality and modern energy clearly also comparable to the likes of Royal Blood. Tadini's aching vocals give the track a almost florescent nature, pulling you in like a firefly hanging off every syllable of his distorted vocal, not to mention the rip rawring guitar solo crashing in mid way through the track. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard this track in the background of a TV show featuring a car speeding down an open highway surrounded by scorching desert in years to come...
