Drama Round-up 2017

Dramas Watched - 32 (21K, 5C, 2Taiwan, 3J, 1Thai) Dropped - 5 (3C, 2K) Firsts - 1 Lakorn & 1 Filipino movie.

Favourite 5 Dramas of the Year (in no particular oder) 1. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (K) I loved Bong Soon and her Prince Min Min, and together they were adorable. Rest of the drama not so much. And of course Park Hyung Shik got major LURVE from me

2. Avengers Social Club (K) Loved this band of misfits, both together and individually. I cheered every time their plans worked. And while I loved Do Hee eonni, poor little rich girl, Jung Hye was my favourite character. She brought everyone together and found the familial love she never had growing up.

3. School 2017 (K) Drama reminded me of the daring-do-ness of youth. The Student X stuff was slightly OTT but I still cheered when the evil adults got what they deserved. And Tae Swoon, where were you when I was 18?

4. Rak Gan Panlawan (Thai) There were many things wrong with this drama including some emotional cheating but boy did I love the OTP and 2nd Female Lead. The major misunderstandings could easily have been cleared up if only people talked. But I guess confusion was the drama’s premise, so if they communicated, there’d be no drama. Ooo and yes, Nine Naphat - Swoony AND a mama’s boy. My boyz need to pick up a thing or two from him.

5. My Only Love Song (K) Female lead Soo Jung wasn’t terribly likeable at the start but at least she retained her spunk. On Dal was as swoony as period heroes get and though the ending didn’t quite make sense, I was happy the OTP got their happy ending.
