There’s something I thought of recently that I’ve been really curious about, and I wonder if anyone can help me out.

One of the things that made me love BTS early on was just how cuddly they are, as a whole. It’s so precious to watch them literally just spoon each other or flop all over each other or slip their arms into someone else’s coat. I love it so much, and I understand why that general cuddliness is often used as a way to temper ship conversations, because yes, with the exception of Yoongi and Namjoon, basically everyone in BTS is at least occasionally down for a cuddle lol.

What occurred to me just recently though is that I think Taehyung and Jungkook are the only members we’ve seen actually sleep together outside of necessity. A lot of the guys will lie down next to each other -- or at least they used to -- and obviously sometimes they have had to bunk together during travel and stuff.

But outside of those scenarios where they’re sharing a bed out of necessity, usually we’ll see them cuddle for a few moments and then separate. Yet we’ve seen so many instances of Tae and JK literally sleeping together. The ITS cuddle moment sort of brought this to light for me, because the cuddling Tae does when he first arrives in Jungkook’s room is pretty standard BTS fare, for the most part. The fact that he then seems to sleep there for two hours is a lot less common. JK and Tae both, for example, lie down with Jimin at different times in the same season, but neither moment lasts very long.

I actually found a relatively recent compilation of BTS sleeping moments to watch just to test this thought a little bit, and there was one early clip of Tae passed out on Jimin’s arm, but aside from that and some clips where the guys just happened to fall asleep next to each other during photoshoots and during waiting periods behind the scenes, the only clips where it appeared that there was cuddling which led to sleeping or that seemed like anyone had intentionally laid down together with the intention of sleeping were of Tae and JK.

Am I forgetting some moments here, or am I right about this? I’m not saying it Means Something either way really -- other than further evidence of the fact that they trust each other a lot and bear a lot of affection for one another -- I’m just curious at this point because we’ve seen those two napping together a lot over the years.
