Jk gives live! He tells us he’s in his new home, specifically basement level 2, and then gives a brief tour of the very chic karaoke room (which makes me want to see the rest of the house because I love the design of this room). Spotted on the couch is Taekook’s Hello Kitty plushie.

Each Hello Kitty has different coloring patterns, so in comparing past photos of the plushie with this live, it’s clear it’s the same plushie. Here’s an example of two, side by side (CTTO) so you can see for yourself the differences:

I can’t help but think Jk intentionally placed the plushie in his live to make a point, given the style of the room and how obvious the plushie stands out, but of course this is my opinion and you should decide for yourself. Past times with the HK plushie- 

Naturally, Jk gets a flood of requests for songs, some related to other members' work. He hums fragments of songs, and also sings to viewers. While on his phone, he lets watchers know he’s writing down requests so that he can listen to them (and it can be presumed, return to sing them during another live).

A request comes in for one of Tae’s newest songs “Winter Ahead” featuring Park Hyoshin.

Upon hearing the request, Jk begins humming the song. It’s noteworthy that he mentioned needing to listen to songs and circle back (to sing them), but he’s caught up with Tae’s latest work (this song, in particular, was released on November 28, 2024), despite being in the military at this time. He hums, then playfully sings in the melody of “Winter Ahead” that he doesn’t know all of the lyrics, before humming more of it. He shares he’s heard the song a lot (again, very significant and indicative of closeness since he’s in service).

For a split second, he hums “Winter Ahead” before pausing to chat back to comments.

A request comes in for “One Man” by Kim Jong-kook. Jk mentions wanting to work out with him because he has body goals that he can’t do alone.

Jk expresses his frustrations again that he isn’t familiar with a lot of the songs being requested.

After lamenting this, he quietly but immediately searches for his next song, before saying, “Here it is.” Tae’s “Winter Ahead” begins to play. In another instance of their closeness and bond, Jk shares that Tae showed him the teaser of the MV. He then praises Tae’s visuals for the umpteenth time (bless his heart), saying, “the beauty of the visuals” with a shake of his head, finishing with an audible “ahhh” sounding sigh. Naturally, Hybe omitted the full translation when translating this part. Jk sings parts of the song and then hums it once he turns the song off.

Another instance of closeness is the familiarity Jk has with Tae’s friend who collaborated with him on “Winter Ahead,” Park Hyongshin. Jk says he thinks about his vocals a lot in the military, before proceeding to familiarly call Hyoshin “hyung.” He shares that he has Hyoshin’s phone number, and that he’ll contact him before he’s discharged to practice singing together. He tells Hyoshin to call him before correcting himself and saying he’ll call (instead), ending the comment with a big, open mouthed smile and chuckle.

Jk hums IU’s “Love Wins All.” While it may be dismissed by some since he hummed fragments of songs throughout the live, and it could be argued a request came through for this song in the comments that prompted him to hum it, I wanted to archive this particular moment since Tae starred in the MV.
