6. My muse roughly grabs your muse’s arm.
Sadly, Elai could not deny the fact that his rough side would show up when he was drunk and sad at the same time. It was a thing he was really ashamed of, and wished that he would never be like this again. Not after the last time that it happened, but he was a fool for making himself believe that this thing would change. Even after being ‘cured’ from depression, it did not take away all the negative things he felt. In fact, he learned to put them away rather than letting those feelings out to deal with them, which causes him to be more aggressive when he was mad, this time wasn’t an exception.
His hand was wrapped around her arm tightly. Oh, how his friend looked made him question whether he hurt her or not, he probably did though. He did not know his own strength, but that didn’t mean he did not know that he was strong. Strong enough from being able to stop her from punching him. He would never go further than this, especially because somewhere deep down, he knew he would regret this moment for quite a long time. He had moments that situations like these went too far and ended up in a fight. And ended a friendship, which of course he still regrets, and is sorry for with his whole heart.
Elai’s eyes were set on the woman’s, looking colder than ever. What she even did that caused him to be so pissed off, was something he already forgot. He saw his looked at his free hand and noticed it was was trembling. That was the moment he took a deep breath and let his hand fall beside him again. “I’m sorry.” He spoke quietly before leaving the room immediately.
