The headline of the article that popped up on his social media feed confuses the male, as he has absolutely no idea what a Flume Ride is supposed to be. Maybe if he would have visited Lotte World in all these years he lived in Seoul by now, he’d be a little bit smarter. Luckily he’s not the only one confused, though. “Let’s look it up,” he says, quickly using a search engine via his phone to ease their confusion. Yeah, the things you do when you got nothing better to do. “Oh! It’s an amusement park ride,” Henry then says just a few seconds later. “Some sort of roller coaster. It’s at Lotte World … Never been there. Have you?”
It still takes her a second to decipher the bits of Korean-English names tacked onto random things. They were always so jarringly long that it fools her, only to be horribly disappointed when she actually says it out loud. Flume Ride. Very well played. Haeun watches the other expectantly, waiting as his thumbs flew over his screen, only to adorn a scowl when he mentioned the famous amusement park. “Oh, yes I have! And it was not worth the money. That place is literally wild.” A shiver runs down her spine in recollection of that day, made all the more jarring because she was younger and more foreign. The crowd was terrifying and little Haeun was not enjoying herself. “I say stick to Everland, if you’ve ever been. Lotte World is a place for sadists.”
