the night couldn’t have been any more perfect than yejun imagined . when he initially heard of the festival , he just thought of how he could be working instead . he’d be cooped up in his office , working on anything within reach . if anything , he might just be whipping up his next project for his business . with his lates drone launching in a couple of weeks , the excitement got to his head . that was the one thing he focused on . well , that isn’t including his boyfriend . jaewon was the one person he had his eyes on for tonight . that’s what it was like for the majority of the time . while the night sky was illuminated by the bright lights hanging across the roof of tents & booths , neon signs indicating fresh goods , & the sound of amusement coming from all directions .
with his arm slung over jaewon’s shoulders , they continued to wait on their snack . it was o bad after all , yejun concluded . if he had this one person by his side , anywhere was complete . looking down at the younger male , a soft , loving , & genuine grew on his face as usual . he’d stare for the rest of his life if he could , but the sound of their order number was called in a matter of seconds , pulling him out of a trance . shifting his position , he took his arm away from the other to make the interaction . with one hand still available , he naturally eased his hand into jaewon’s , intertwining their fingers . ❝ i’ve never had cotton candy before ; let alone seen one three times bigger than my head , ❞ he amused , admiring the colorful dessert . he then adjusted the food in his hand to align it with jaewon’s mouth out of courtesy , but figuring to take a bite for himself while it was in front of him already . ❝ this is the first festival i attended , ❞ he then admitted , shyly chuckling at the fact . ❝ & i’m glad it’s with you . ❞
