The Audio Fiction Convention is crowdfunding now! It's a one day in-person event bringing together creators and fans of audio fiction. We'll have a main stage for panels and talks all about audio fiction, as well as tables and booths available for creators to show off their work! If funded, the event will take place on June 14, 2026, in Boulder, Colorado.
The Kickstarter is where you can get tickets to the event, a table at the artist alley, and explore sponsorship opportunities!
A one-day in-person con for creators and fans of audio fiction.
Planned speakers from across the audio fiction space include: Gabriel Urbina (Wolf 359, Hit Singles), Lauren Shippen (The Bright Sessions, Breaker Whiskey), William A. Wellman (Hello from the Hallowoods), Roshan Singh (Temujin, DC High Volume: Batman), Jeff Van Dreason (Greater Boston, The Perfect Sentence), ItMe!! (InCo, Stories from Ylelmore), and more!
I'm gonna be at TAFCON! Come find me if you want an ANA sticker!
Fawx & Stallion is so excited to be attending TAFCON 2026 this Sunday! Lauren will be there with business cards, flyers, stickers, and shirts - if you're attending, pop by our booth and say hello!
Happy Audio Drama Sunday! This week I want to ask for money. But not for myself! Some of my favorite shows and people are crowdfunding, and I’d love to tell you all about it.
🩸 The Last Dance has already reached its goal, but like. C’mon. Give them more. They deserve it. There is no one doing high fantasy or dark fantasy or dark high fantasy like @last-dance-audio-drama. The art of the worldbuilding, the cleverness of character work, the way you know this is a dark fantasy where people die and yet Every Single Death hits like a truck…The Last Dance, man.
💀 Dracula is dear to my heart, and if you’re going to make a sequel to it, it’s got to be good. Respect Jonathan and Mina, avoid Dracula as romantic lead, and do something interesting with Dracula’s canonical powers. Right? Yeah so who is doing this? The Holmwood Foundation is doing this, and they’re absolutely nailing it. Their crowdfund launches soon for their second season and I am frothing at the mouth for the cliffhanger they left us on. Go follow @theholmwoodfoundation’s page so we can make this second season happen!
🎧 I got involved making audio dramas at PodCon (RIP). It meant the absolute world to me to spend time with other creators, to meet people I admired, to listen to the process of making audio drama, and to get advice from people both starting out like me and from old hands in the art form. Internet friends are great—in-person friends are even better. So I’m BEYOND PSYCHED to be a part of TAFCON, The Audio Fiction Convention, which has reached its goal and will be taking place in my neck of the woods in June! Now TAFCON is going for its first stretch goal, which will increase accessibility at the event AND allow remote passes!!!!! All of you could come with me!!! Doesn’t that sound fun?
That’s all for me. If you have a few bucks or quid or pesos, even if one of these three doesn’t strike your fancy, support some art that matters to you! And have a good week.
One of these days im going to go to fucking tafcon
TAFCON is going to be so funny, primarily because I'm sure I'll be meeting people whose faces I don't recognize at all, and then they open their mouth to speak and suddenly I'll be a starstruck mess.
TAFCON 2026 Unofficial Playlist
I've put together a playlist of audio dramas where at least one creator will be at TAFCON 2026, either in person or virtually.
Did I intend for it to be 34.5 hours long? No. Will I be shuffling it on my road trip to Colorado? Yes. Will you also be shuffling it in the coming weeks? I hope so.
There are going to be a lot of creators at TAFCON and I think it'd be nice to know a little about their shows if you meet any of them (like at the New Creator Meetup or Producer Networking or Wandering Around and Making Friends).
There's a couple of shows here I'm excited to introduce Alexander and Edie to and plenty more I haven't listened to that I'm hoping come up in my shuffle.
The playlist lives on Spotify but here's the exported list for all you non-Spotify people.
