Tag lock idea

So some spells need like a lock of hair as a taglock right? Instead of cutting your hair grab your hairbrush and get some hair from there. No weird cuts in your hair!

So you know how some spells require a personal asset from the person you wish to cast then on. I was asking if I could you a gift for the personal asset needed for the spell.

It’s okay!! Don’t be sorry I just wanted to make sure that I got the right information so that I could give you the right answer.

I think in this case you need to be very specific with your wording and intent in your spell. Such as “this is an item my target has given to me” because since it was chosen for you, the spell could confuse it to go toward you. (I hope I’m wording this okay).

Because if it’s something they associate with you, then the energies moving about might go “Oh! This is about you then!” But if you tell it otherwise, it should work.

Mostly that’s a precaution, because to begin with, you* associate that object with them because they gave it to you. And your association should* be enough. I only recommend being specific as a safety net :)
