Rules: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture their character/personality/vibe. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you’re free to include those as well. The lovely @darkurgetrash tagged me in this little game, so I'm pleased to share 15 lines of dialogue from Tav, from the Forbidden Fire series. Looking back at the 5 chapters published, I realise she doesn't talk *that* much all things considered, but everytime she open her mouth it's mostly to share a self-absorbed, a little mean or a little sarcastic comment 😂
And contrarily to darkurgetrash's amazing Tavlyn, it looks like the word "sorry" barely features in this Tav's vocabulary 🤠

2. “Oh yeah? Well, sorry that I didn’t leave you to fucking die like an idiot! (...) Sorry my friends here risked their lives to save your ass!”
3. “If I save Cal and Lia and you’re dead outside the Inn because something attacked you…”
4. “Yeah! You don’t know how to lie, Gale! How did you think you were going to pull this off? (...) You should know better by now.”
5. “On the contrary, it’s way too much. Really, I… I don’t need gold. I don’t, I swear.”
6. “I just wanted to say… it was very brave of you to go after Cal and Lia. I mean, it was incredibly reckless given the circumstances, but still brave. They’re very lucky to have you.”
7. "That’s kinda the whole reason I’m here. Did you think I was on holiday, taking the scenic route to Baldur’s Gate?”
8. “I have no choice. I have no choice but to find a cure because I don’t want to die, and I certainly don’t want to die a monster!”
9. “I’m pretty sure everyone here knows, but that’s probably because they were paying attention instead of drinking themselves into an early grave.”
10. “If I find a cure? I don’t know. I guess I’ll go back to my old life. I’ve got friends and family waiting for me.”
11. “Gale, do I look like I spend my free time in dusty magic shops? Be serious.”
12. “If you touch me again I’ll have you cut in two.”
13. “The Nightsong is mine at the moment, and mine to do as I please. I know how to bind and subjugate her; I’ve seen her previous soulcage myself. We can replicate it.”
14. “You’d refuse me, a valued customer? Don’t make me call your boss. Take it.”
15. “Look, Rolan, I know I promised you to not meddle anymore, but I’m going to have to. Quite a lot, if I’m honest.”
