Morpheus watched the realization dawn on their face, his own smile widening at the very sight of it. One does not simply elude a child of the All-Mighty and to do so successfully was a high on its own. He shouldn’t enjoy it too much – especially when he intends to make a family out of Lucifer Morningstar yet. “Well, Lightbringer?” He mocked.

Dark!Morpheus x reader where when he comes back Morpheus try’s to be a better husband to reader because he neglected her so much when they were together and was annoyed when she would push him to spend time with her, have dinner with her, or enjoy a day in the waking world and doing activities. He’s always been extremely cold towards her, which is something he slowly regrets during his years of being locked up. The loneliness made him crave her in his arm and wish to feel her lips once more because the only time he kissed her on the lips was on their wedding day. When they reunite Morpheus quickly kisses her but she doesn’t and only gives him a blank stare when they reunite and tells him she’s happy he’s back before returning to her duty’s as queen, which wasn’t much at the moment since the realms collapsing. Morpheus slowly try’s to rekindle their relationship, but he’s annoyed because of how slow it’s going and the torture he goes through while reader enjoys making him grovel.

Can you do Scarlet Witch!Reader x Dark!Morpheus headcanons please? I’m really curious how he would go about forcing the reader to stay by his side compared to human reader! Like is it even possible? How low would he go?

That’s a really curious idea! Morpheus definitely can’t physically force Scarlet Witch!Reader to stay with him but he could probably manipulate them. Idk, mind break? 😳 a game? like winner takes all? This is such an interesting request! I never even thought of that. It’ll have to be an AU tho because Fire on Fire!Morpheus would never— ✋🏽😂

I'm not sure if you read the original request but it's basically the catalyst for Dark!Morpheus, or rather what broke the camel's back lmao he's talking about Nada in the first paragraph, the mortal who 'deserted' him despite his devotion. I don't know if I'll write a prequel of the series, but basically in my head I thought maybe Reader was just a smart, pragmatic little cinnabun who didn't think marriage with a cosmic being was gonna end well for her and hesitated for a second and Morpheus being the dramatic boi took that as rejection and took matters into his own hands.
