Thoughts on SOS part 2 (spoilersfor part 2 and possibly for signals part 1 and 2)

First and foremost AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ok now that that’s out of the way let’s talk. Gordon I love that he was so committed to saving Brahman, but MY GOD I AM NOT OK!

He was hurt so badly! My child! My poor poor squid child!

I like that they added a bit of a hesitation on Fuzes part and the different music for Thunderbirds 2 launch, created a lot of dramatics and I liked it.

Ok let’s talk about Kayo real quick, she’s definitely my least favourite character, she’s better than Tin-Tin in the original series but it’s just annoying. And this episode I was more annoyed at her than ever. She was getting in the way with Gordon’s rescue and Gordon is so much more important than her (sorry to any Kayo fans no hard feelings if you love her) but I must admit I did like that she got annoyed about having to get Brahman instead of the hood.

I like that Lady P had a part in his rescue I think that was really important in their relationship. And the part in the hospital made my feels and heart hurt.

My poor squid child! By the looks of it his head, neck, Arm and leg were injured and they said that he would be better for a while, ‘a few months’ here’s what I think for the next few episodes, Gordon will be in hospital for the next episode and a couple after he will be on the island but still be injured and won’t be able to help in rescues.

I do like that Virgil was in it (briefly) but he did talk? That’s something right?

I hope they don’t have him healed in the next episode, I prefer it when a bad injury in shows is long running and lasts more than one episode.

Also let’s talk Thunderbird 4. It was left there at the bottom of the ocean. Not sure if they will get the original back and fix her (although she did look pretty beaten up) or just start from scratch and rebuild her. Hard to say.

And now Jeff. I don’t know about them bringing Jeff back honestly. It’ll be nice the boys have their farther back but in the original series the boys were so dependent on Jeff the boys didn’t get to make any decisions themselves. It was a case of something’s going wrong ask dad what to do and dad tells them, it didn’t allow the boys to doubt their decision, make a wrong decision and grow from it. They need to be careful with how they bring Jeff back.

I haven’t seen any synopsis of the next two episodes (signals part 1 and 2) but I suspect (from the name) it’ll be something to do with getting Jeff back. And I don’t know how I feel about that. I mean if they want to bring Jeff back sure whatever I’m not making the show but I think they should have one episode in between that’s just a regular rescue, maybe an underwater one where one of the other brothers have to go in a pod to save them because of injuries to Gordon and TB4. (Obviously that’s not happening)

Possibly my favourite episode honestly definitely my favourite in the season!

Anyway I guess I’ll get back to you all next week when the new episode comes out.

I haven’t drawn these babies for MONTHS bc Mass Effect, Dragon Age, RWBY and Voltron Legendary Defender took over my life. also I went back to college in September and everyone on my fine arts course (including myself) hates it so much we’re having group mental breakdowns and almost all of our teachers are terrible lmao
