There comes a point in our lives when we seek to find ourselves thinking we could be a brand new person leaving all the anxieties behind. We also want to self-actualize and feel reborn. We also seek to reattached or be closer with God.
In order to find peace initially we need to find a place where we can relax. Without too much searching, I am happy that my friends and I have found this sanctuary in Alfonso, Cavite called Lifeplace Retreat and Event Center where I could just be me while savoring time with God in solitude.

The rooms were perfectly built with trees and plants everywhere. I love that it’s Nipa-hut inspired that matches the greenery.
Our villa’s terrace is one of my favorite spots because I can appreciate the whole view of the place!
The walkway is so serene that it will lead you to somewhere great!
A little bit walk and you’ll see the church. I like its architectural design.
The church can accommodate a lot of guests. It is perfect for any kind of events specially weddings, baptismal, etc.
On the right corner is one of the events area where usually wedding is held.
Going back to the entrance of the retreat house is this fountain that would make you want to take photos.
Anytime of the day is relaxing at the Lifeplace. It is perfect to have a party or conduct corporate events here since this is situated in a cold and breezy place.
The rooms feel like home! I like that they maintained and placed wooden furnitures for consistency of the theme. I actually saw two rooms.
This room is where we dozed off. This is actually good for 10. matresses can be added depending on how many persons. All villas has this cozy attics that I usually see in American movies.
Another look of our tidy and comfortable room.
This is what the attic looks like. This can accommodate 3-4 persons.
Looking merely at the view makes me feel at peace. I always believe that nature can always give you positive energy. Breathing here makes big difference when you are in Manila.
I have spotted a lot of beautiful flowers and trees worth capturing.
The place is also lovely at night. It could get really romantic to see these lights from the picture. This circular frame is one of their iconic displays and go-to place for photo taking.
The attendants were very accommodating. They will assist you the moment you’ve stepped in and stepped out of their establishment. Free coffee and water provided to all guests.
The foods cooked were home-made. I love all the food choices they cooked during our stay. Everything was tasty specially the Nilaga and Adobo.
After we had our meal and mini program, we were invited to have a gathering at the picnic area where we had bonfire. It was a great chilly evening where my friends and I had a bit of chitchat about almost everything.
At the lobby area, you will see this LOVE monolith which is instagram-worthy.
This is me ejoying every bit of my stay at Lifeplace where life begins...again.
I really had a breathe of fresh air! I got to know my friends more and wished have more time to talk to God. In my days of grieving of my mom’s loss, I must say that going to Lifeplace helped me to quite move on.
Have a piece of tranquility and reassess yourself at this lovely place meant to nurture your soul. They cater to different kind of events!
