simply put, don’t repost art that isn’t yours ! creators take their time to bring us such amazing work, it keeps communities alive and thriving and to repost is to discredit their hard work!
don’t take your artists for granted 🖤🖤
@artblackout
I thought it was a pretty good song in the proud tradition of Rhapsody and nothing more, but everybody gangsta until the baritone vocals start, and once that happens... you know. The usual. Everyone’s panties are on the floor, the house is burning, etc.
What does autumn symbolize?
Is it a time of death, where all vibrant living things find themselves either six feet under or asleep? A time of life -- the beginning of the cycle that would soon result in spring, making way for the new. Maybe it was neither. Rika had always seen it as a time of change. It was never really true death -- after all, the animals were still planning for the winter, and most of the leaves hadn’t fallen from the trees yet. And on that same point, those alive still clung onto that life. In that regard, nothing new could be born just yet, for where would those trees and flowers grow?
(Perhaps, then, it was fitting that she was born in November. But a thought for another time.)
Yes, Rika reasoned, as she wrapped herself in a coat, autumn symbolized change. The past month had reminded her of that lesson well. In her attempts to plant roots in Hive City, she had grown complacent. She had allowed herself to get too comfortable with the people here, with little to show for it. Rika had forgotten her purpose, and in doing so, nearly lost her brother and her life.
It was a mistake she would not make again.
Ah, but -- there was promise in Cradle. That was why she risked adventuring further out into District Gamma, wasn’t it? An office in Sector 03 -- “A clinic, a way to do some good in an oft strife-filled sector.” -- was a good starting point, yes. But a starting point was all it was. What Wright and Rika needed was some place to work. While Rika was more physically fit than the other, it was not by much. He at least had an advantage -- a gift from God.
Rika had received no such gifts. Any advantage she had would have to be made herself. No matter, that was her reason for going out.
Rika took a moment to tuck what hair she could underneath the coat, instead of letting it hang out for the world to see. What hair she couldn’t hide under her coat she covered with a scarf, and used the same scarf to hide her mouth and nose. Rika plucked her phone off its charger, placed it into her pants pocket, grabbed a flashlight, and stepped out.
There was a brief moment of hesitation -- the fog was thick, making the already darkened district almost pitch black. And the ghosts after dark… Well, she was practically a ghost, anyway. And wasn’t this hesitation, Rika reminded herself, what caused so many problems in the first place? No, no, there would be no more waiting. Closing the door behind her, Rika took a deep breath and stepped out into the darkness. She reminded herself -- pay no mind to the voices, to the blood, to the spectres. They had nothing of what she wanted, of what she needed.
The cold air filled Rika’s lungs, and she felt electricity underneath her skin. This was her mission. The time passed quickly as she kept to her own thoughts, but after what might have been hours of searching, she’d found what she’d been looking for. It would require some cleaning -- some of the tools, some of the chemicals would undoubtedly have to be taken out, replaced with something new. But the lab appeared to have had no occupants or foot traffic in years. October -- this place -- would be her true beginning, her change.
This city would pay for what it had allowed to happen, for allowing monsters to walk freely.
Even if she had to become a monster herself.
I was looking through my offense history from 2006-2008 (I've been good since then ok) and the things I got reported for were incredible. I got reported for saying "your g e y" bc back then gay was censored. Reported for saying "George bush sucks as hell" LMAO???? And I also got reported for saying "you soc your dad" oh my god I was a terrible youngster why
I remember I was standing in the GE, minding my own business. A guy who was with his friends dancing near me started hitting on me. So, me not wanting to play along, I told him no thanks and he's like "LMAO total dude u guys!!!" to his friends who were all like "l0000000l" Like I'm automatically a guy for not wanting some random guy hit on me???? OK. I'm tired of being called a guy every day on a game I enjoy. NEWS FLASH: IT'S 2014 GIRLS CAN GAME TOO But real talk, maybe I should start calling these turds girls and see their "manly online" ego get crushed in half.
it's really annoying when people have a valid criticism or opinion of a show but they write it in such a rude way that it's impossible to listen to them
and then they get angry when people criticise the fact that they've been unnecessarily rude instead of writing an argument politely with evidence to back up why they feel that way
17, female, and umisexual tbh
