SO i'm absolutely terrified of a certain horror movie.

the ring.

in the movie, your tv will turn on by itself with static on screen, then cut to a shot of a water well. then a dead girl will climb out of the well, walk towards the screen, come out and kill you.

therefore, i can't deal with static on televisions.

when it happens to my tv, i turn my back, squeeze my eyes shut, cover my ears, and hum as loud as i can. if it happens really suddenly, i go into fetal position. i also almost always cry.

it's a really ridiculous phobia and i feel like a whiny little kid. i'm a big loser crybaby and i need to just get over it.

and even though i know it's stupid and ridiculous, it still gets to me.
