🌿 favorite comfort food: oh man... coffee, definitely, but actual food-wise? huckleberry ice cream, peanut butter cookies, the challah bread from that ONE shop in the market, baked brie, pork fried rice, pho.
🌼 favorite alcohol (or hot drink!): Fave hard alcohol is a good whiskey/bourbon. Fave hot drink is definitely coffee. Handily enough the two go together well.
🌷 favorite relaxing activity: harassing my cats, singing to a musical soundtrack, reading a book, making desserts
🌺 favorite fluffy/feel-good fic: I don’t generally like the fluffy ones...more a hurt/comfort girl myself.
🌻 favorite calming scent: Jasmine or white tea and ginger(I will DIE ANGRY that Bath and Body Works discontinued my fave body wash) also this amazing Besame perfume called 1940′s.
🌺 favorite relaxing (or uplifting) song: Lately it’s been “Higher than a Hawk” by Howard Keel, but Lingering by Sheppard or a good chunk of the Owl City songs are also good for chilling or getting boosted by. Oh! And Down By the Salley Gardens by Peter Hollens!
🌵 favorite white noise: probably the squirrels running amok around my porch
🍄 favorite book to get lost in: I got sucked in HARD to the Shotgun Arcana by RS Belcher. The whole Golgotha series is SO GOOD.
💐 favorite chill-out tv show: Leverage, though my favorite tv show to get stressed with (just a little) is Grimm
🌹 the best advice you’ve ever had: It’s less ‘advice’ per se than it’s a line from a book that’s stuck with me (School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister. Recommend it highly. SO highly.), it’s a response to one character saying the other is prettier than her...
