Okay, an interruption to the normal posts on this page^^' I wouldn't normally post something about digimon on tumblr (because that's on twitter) (and not counting the ask), BUT I can't deny that I want to share the project I was working on all January for the 10 years of my digimon fanfic "Project Illuminati" So I hope you like it^^

I admit that I was surprised to achieve something like this, but this story is my big project, and although I haven't been able to update the fanfic (personal issues, time, and study), I wanted to give something to my readers, and this animatic was what occurred to me^^ (I would have published it in August of last year - on the anniversary-, but it was at that time when my digital pencil was damaged and delayed MANY projects^^')

I’m very glad the order of this list allowed me to establish that I don’t have ALL goggleheads before going all crabby old person here... but I REALLY don’t like loud, hot-blooded, spiky-haired protagonists.  I just don’t.  They’re always the weakest part of any series built around them, as far as I’m concerned.  So it’s a VERY good thing that Digimon is an ensemble show by design, because this comes up a lot.

Again, I don’t hate EVERY gogglehead: Taiki’s a perfect example of how to take those traits I dislike and make them work, Takato is a wonderful subversion of them, and from what I’ve seen Haru seems perfectly likable too.  But everyone else?  Yeah, I’d never want to be stuck in a room with any of those kids.  At BEST, my reaction to these characters is cold-hearted indifference, at worse I straight up loathe them.  That’s directed at YOU, Tagiru...

Genuine question, what inspired you to start writing Project Illuminati?

Hi, sorry to reply so late^^'! Honestly, you could say that the Xros Wars/Hunter anime itself inspired me. The Hunter season was, yes, a filler, but one that had a lot of potential. I personally really enjoyed watching the new episode of the anime every weekend. Also counting that I like to link in one way or another all the fanfic I write, so to further develop the plot of PI I could include elements from my other fanfic (Phoenix Feathers, Merchant Trips) that although they are from another series DIFFERENT from digimon, it could complement it^^. Another thing that inspired me is the HUGE amount of digimon fanfic that are ONLY ROMANTIC and more focused on Adventure and 02 ><'. Note, I'm not saying that it's bad that there are romance fanfics… but that they're almost all the same… and that the digimon don't have any personality/importance… I wanted to do something different. And I very much doubt that there was going to be a fanfic based on Hunter, especially in Spanish. And the fact that the story has been so well received and has so many readers (especially foreigners^^!) continues to amaze me and makes me very happy x3!!

This took me a while to scrounge up the courage for but-

Recently i've started reading one of your digimon fanfiction titled as "Project Illuminati" and so far i've been hooked on where the story is going

(though it could get a little difficult with the language barrier and having google translate as the only way to be able to understand)

So- if it isn't rude to ask- would there be an english version published?

Have you read my digimon fic?! You don't know how happy I get when I find out there's a new reader! (even more so if it is someone with another language x3)

I apologize in advance for my spelling in the first chapters (it was horrible and I still regret it), and that must have made the translation difficult, sorry TvT

Write an English version? I admit that I've been thinking about it, but, for example, with the Darkwing Duck fic I'm writing (which allows me to relax a bit before continuing with the digimon fic), writing the translation has been complicated for me. I had help in the first chapters because the author of the Geronimo Saga guided me to make good translations, but it's different with the digimon fic.

The chapters are MUCH longer, and it would take even longer to post. If I were to write an English version, it could be after finishing the story (although I don't promise anything, sorry, but with so little free time I have, I must organize myself well TvT)

But still I'm so glad you like my story! If you have any questions you can ask me! (Although I admit that I may be slow to respond, sorry ^^')
