it’s not like it’s particularly uncommon for someone at the bar lanque works at to end up so wasted they have to be sent to the er. he always forgets that humans can actually die from drinking too much booze. pathetic. but what is he gonna do, get fired? boo hoo, he’ll have to focus on all of his other jobs.
oh... huh, lanque assumed he was the only troll here. does he know him? no, no. perfect. but he does remember daraya mentioning someone that kind of looks like him? definitely a perfect target to spark a bit of drama in his dull life here. he unabashedly shoves the crowd out of his way to make his way over to tagora, immediately getting in front of him before he gets the chance to chase a potential client.
“ isn’t it crazy how squishy these humans are? you try to have even a little fun with one of them, and they practically die from embarrassment. ” lanque wraps his arm around tagora, smoothing his hand over his shoulder and pinning the other under his armpit. “ you’d be much harder to break though, wouldn’t you? ”

“Well. I just gotta wait a few hours for these rabbits to come out. But for now...” Sora looks up at the bamboo trees surrounding him, wondering how strong are they. He’s heard that they were the strongest type of wood, even a bear can climb up these slim sticks and it wouldn’t break. It’s time to put that to the test. “Alright! Lets get to it!” Sora smiles lightly, rubbing his hands together before jumping up to get a grip of it. Since it really didn’t hand any branches to climb or rest over, he would have to do a straight shot upwards.
“Easy peasy.” Sora said outloud, however before he was able to start his journey, the sound of someone close by caught his attention. The boy rest his head back to see the stranger as if he was the one upside down. Someone with... horns? They look familiar, but he’s sure he’s never met this guy before. “Hey there! Here to try and climb a bamboo tree? If you like, we can race to the top and see who can climb the fastest.”

“L-looks like it’s just us.” Yuri observed as the rest of the murder mystery guests dispersed in their own groups, leaving her and the strange looking man alone. Well, a small group was probably a bit better anyways...
“Where do you want to start? We can look at the crime scene, or... Ask for alibis...” Her voice trailed off.

Back home, Klavier would usually have a detective check out crime scenes for him, but here? Things seem to work a bit differently, and he’d rather see things with his own eyes if he’s going to be prosecuting a case.
There’s someone standing at the edge of this particular scene... or would lurking be the right word? Could this person be a witness? Either way, he should probably talk to him.
“If you’re trying to check out the crime scene, I doubt you’re going to have much luck from out here.”
