7. Laughing kiss

“I can’t believe that… worked?” Axi laughed, she wasn’t sure if it wasthe fact they’d actually survived or the heat of this damned place getting toher but that was all she could do as she leant back against the wall. The wallonly marginally cooler than the sand she could feel through her trousers.

“So you’re tellin’ me you didn’t plan that?” The Cathar spoke up,turning to face her.

“No!” She tried to bite down on another chuckle, with little success.

“You’re really somethin’ you know that?” He shook his head, he chuckled.“And you got an infectious laugh, cut that out,”

“No!” Axi snorted, giggling as she poked his nose, “You can’t make me!”

Jaren’s laugh seemed to be mixed with a purr, his pupils dilating brieflyeven in the harsh sun, “We’ll see about that,”

He lunged at her from where he was sitting, catching her and pressinghis lips to hers, laughs still escaping her lips and his as he kept himselffrom letting them both fall onto the hot sand.

Four Facts about Rei'ki, Jaal, and Jaren Tahjan, for @tahjan because I'm tired of waiting on my mailbox to work. -Jaal still calls him Taj, because it stuck. He might call him Jaren if he asked or insisted on it, though. In return, he lets Jaren call him "Knives" or "Fuzzface" (Rei'ki and Z'neel are the only others who can call him the latter). -Jaal trusts Jaren. Pretty much completely. That's a pretty big deal. -Rei'ki shares Iridonian cooking with Jaren in exchange for Cathar stuff (her excuse is she wants to know what Jaal should eat, but that's a lie, she just loves different food). -Rei'ki actually lowers the temperature a bit when she knows Jaren is coming by, so she can claim she's cold and needs a cuddle. Jaal thinks it's hilarious.

Twi'lek do not! They only have eyelashes. However, ones that deal with humans a lot often paint or tattoo eyebrows on to make humans more comfy.

I didn't think so; I think I was thinking more about how so much of the character creator *gives* them eyebrows and I'm always like "wow this looks SO weird." xD

Cheiloproclitic - Being attracted to someones lips.

That’s such a sweet one. I’ll go with my JK Gislaran and TheronShan.

Gislaran’s lekku kept twitching. She needed to focus on the intelreport in front of her so she couldn’t stop to meditate to calm herself downand re-center her scrambled thoughts.

She wasn’t certain she wanted to, anyway. The SIS agent she’dbeen paired with to review the data on the mysterious events on Makeb made fora rather adorable distraction.

She’d been side-eyeing him for the past three hours. They’dcaught each other’s gaze several times. Each time, she marveled how he couldhave such a full lower lip when his upper lip nearly disappeared. Or how bothlips were framed by just the hint of stubble. Nothing like a perfectTwi’lek mouth. One of those uniquely human flaws that made them extremelyattractive, especially to a flawed Jedi like herself. 

Not that the rest of him wasn’t equally enticing. She wonderedif he was as inexperienced with matters of the flesh as she was. She’d onlybeen with a man once, and women twice, all of them secret flings and suitablyengaged and disengaged without attachments. 

But since leaving the Order for the military permanently, shehad been thinking more about matters of the flesh. She had resisted the urge tothrow herself into carnal indulgence, mostly to prove she hadn’t “fallen”from Jedi grace to selfish hedonism. She wanted it known instead that she hadmade a considered choice after Grandmaster Shan’s pronouncement that she simplywasn’t Light enough to be granted the Master status she had earned.

And now she found herself here, in a tiny office on CarrickStation, staring at Satele Shan’s son and wondering what it would be like tokiss him until they both ran out of breath. 

“Hey, Theron,” she said. “I’m still exhausted from theflight here and I could use a break. How about we order in some food and drinks?”

He shrugged. “I’ll get right on it. I could use somerefueling, too.”

Even when he spoke, that lower lip begged for attention. Shevowed, then and there, not to leave it wanting.

11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

During one of the first contracts Tee ever did, she was attacked by her target’s Nexu. The beast ripped apart the left half of her body, namely her face, chest, shoulder and arm. Where its claws dug in, flesh, tendon and muscle gave way. Her bones were visible after the mauling. 

She did manage to get away after stabbing the thing in the throat and somehow dragging herself to a med station. Tee spent a week in a kolto tank and she still scarred in the areas where the attack was the worst. She never finished that contract.

Tarja liked to keep tabs on interesting beings that moved through the watering holes she frequented; she was always on the lookout for new crew, after all, and she didn’t like to miss out on people with useful skills. That night, the object of her interest was another of her own kind - a blonde Cathar she’d never seen around before.

She took an indirect path to reach him - it wouldn’t do to look genuinely interested, after all - until she found herself at the cantina’s bar, near enough to the blonde stranger that she could try out some small talk.

“Huh.” Tarja spoke loudly so that her voice rose over the din of the cantina. She curled her lip and wrinkled her nose slightly, playing as though she didn’t much care whether the other Cathar was paying any attention to her or not. “Well, you ain’t the worst that I’ve seen. Kinda weird to see another one of us with, y’know-” she motioned vaguely at the blonde stranger’s snout - “a muzzle, am I right? You’d think all us baselines were extinct with all them flat-faced Juhani runnin’ around. I guess your markings ain’t all that hard on the eyes neither - all them bold splotches. Real fancy.”

Tarja shifted her weight and reclined against the bar. She drew her gaze down the stranger’s form, deliberate and appraising. Her fingers flexed distractedly, as they often did when she was weighing something in her mind.

“Looks to me like you’re packin’ some muscle under all that fur and all,” she said, looking up and seeking eye contact with the stranger. She broke into an easy grin. “What are ya? Bounty hunter? Mercenary? You gotta be in some interestin’ line of work, I know that.”
