                    “Udagawa-san...” She flourishes. Her leg? It goes straight up in the air. Her hand? Held delicately askew from her face in an effortless pose. Sparkles? Appear out of nowhere. “Hello.”

Man, was it hard to reach Kaoru on Valentine's! It's not any fault of her own, of course, but any attempt to deliver her tomo chocolates was met with girls gathering in the courtyard or nearly blocking off hallways. Tomoe eventually lucks out and finds a moment where she can get Kaoru's attention, delivering a neatly wrapped bag of chocolates. "Phew — hope I'm not cheating any lines or anything!" She's joking, of course. "I wanted to make sure these got to you. Ako helped me with 'em."

  “ No, certainly not! The lines finished some time ago, ” she answers, offering Tomoe a smile. Valentine’s Day has been a holiday full of joy and exhaustion, a similar feeling to that of a successful performance. Kaoru nonchalantly wipes sweat from her brow, hoping it isn’t too obvious.

  “ Did she now? Fufu… I’m honored. To have not one, but two kittens work on chocolates for me… I am sure they will taste twice as sweet now. ”

  Kaoru gingerly takes the bag, humming a bit as she tries to find a place for it. With the mountain of gifts she has to tote back home… it would be rather difficult to not allow this to become lost.

  “ Tomoe-chan… would you keep me company on the way to my home? I don’t believe I can ensure the safety of this by myself. ”

it was hard for him not to notice her extended absence. it didn’t take that long to grab a couple of drinks, did it? no - when his curiosity got the better of him, he only had to follow the sound of the quiet cries.

hand reaches for his shoulder, and she speaks with tremors in her voice. the boy offers a smile, and grabs for his arm to try and turn her around. 

“tomoe... hey. it’s alright. don’t apologize. just needed to make sure you didn’t get lost in your own house,” he offers a laugh, before shaking his head. “... c’mon. let’s get back to your room. we’ll sit, and... we can talk about it all.”

‘ ako has told me a lot about you tomoe, she has nothing but the best to say about her big sister, ‘ it warmed her heart to have ako ramble on and on about the elder udagawa sister. sure it was on their own accord-- band and personal were separate. but it truly made her wish even she had a sister, if it meant being so fawned over like that. though perhaps it was their thing, considering the other pair of sisters.... ‘ she is just the cutest when she talks about you, that sparkle in her eyes really is the sweetest. you’re so lucky to have a sister like ako, and vice versa. ‘
