It wasn’t typical for Tethys to be on the audience’s side, but she had to remind herself to get off the stage sometimes. Her own dances can’t be the only ones she watches.

And she’s glad, these Hoshidan dances were gorgeous. Mesmerizing in their own way of rigidity, not at all a bad thing. She notes the complicated, heavy clothing with curiosity. Even the rather average layers she wore to what she assumed was a culture more modest than Jehanna made her feel weighed down. But they moved as if they were weightless.

She looks to the person sitting next to, a younger looking boy with silver hair. “Does it have a name?”
