@taikouvember Day 3 - Sincerity: "What is your favourite aspect about their relationship with Mimi?"

If I hadn't 6563829 things planned since May, I absolutely would have liked to explore Taishirou's dynamic with all the other Chosen Child a little more... But since I already had this little comic (inspired by a scene in Sailor Moon's "Hearts in Ice" movie) drafted for a while, I at least wanted to highlight Mimi's relationship with them a bit: In my head, Mimi is the most lesbian-coded character in the entirety of Adventure and has an absolute blast playing cupid for the others (mostly together with Takeru). In addition, she is also INCREDIBLY invested in how Koushirou would do in matters of love - but even though she likes to get attention from (and tease) him personally, she knows she wouldn't get anything out of him, so she has to go to the next best source: Taichi. I actually do not consider her a fujoshi, but she absolutely would romanticize their relationship and Taichi is aware of that - so even if he may like to screw with her a little bit, he also would not be able to really hide his affections... Because both Taichi and Mimi care deeply about Koushirou, they would absolutely bond over him (and that's also how an OT3 between these three would go down, but that's a topic for another day).

Also, Taichi absolutely loves their kisses, but as much as I headcanon him to be an unbearable sap, he won't talk about that out loud, so shhhh.

DigiChristmas Fanfic

Just a random little idea that came into my mind, and a return present for the wonderful @seventeenlovesthree, I hope you enjoy!!!

The cold wind whipped furiously against Taichi’s body, his multiple layers and larger frame unable to fully suppress the bone-chilling storm happening around him. With a growl he plows himself through the heavy snow, finally reaching the door, which has mostly been obscured by the blurry white noise. As he turns the knob, he finds himself suddenly jerked forward as the door opens up, pulling him inside the warm and brightly lit cabin. 

“Taichi-san! Why were you out in that?!" Koushirou demanded, crossing his arms as he looked at the snow-covered man in front of him. Despite the warmth inside, he's wearing as many layers as Taichi, indicating he too planned to go outside. 

"I wanted to explore but got caught in the snow. Besides, you were about to go out too!" 

"Yeah, to look for you!" 

"I was fine, but thanks." Taichi smiles as they both begin to remove some layers, setting Taichi's coat and gloves to dry as they leave the sparsely decorated mudroom and find themselves in a very heavily decorated living room. The open-concept room is filled with everything from tinsel to lights, even featuring some homemade ornaments, with a warm, roaring fireplace and a big, bright tree. It was a scene straight from a movie. Taichi continues to take it all in, smiling brighter and brighter before suddenly he’s grabbed by the waist and pulled into a bone-crushingly tight side hug. 

“Isn’t it great?! We made it absolutely perfect! Just gotta put up the stockings and get the presents set!” Mimi beams up at Taichi and Koushirou, excitement lacing every syllable as she holds the two of them as close as physics will allow. 

“You did wonderfully, Mimi-san, and I see your grip has only gotten stronger,” Koushirou says, pained at the end, as he feels her arm only hold him tighter.

“Mmhm! It’s for all the naughty boys who run off to play in the snow rather than help decorate!” She teases, tightening her grip further before giving a fox-like grin. 

“We’re sorry, Mimi-chan; we’ll help however we can,” Taichi says, giving in to her antics and returning her smile. 

“Good! Now come help me and Sora-san decorate cookies!” She demands, beginning to drag them along as Koushirou sighs. 

“Seems like we have a pretty packed schedule, huh, Kou?” Taichi grins at him, being guided along by the brunette. 

“It sure does, Taichi-san,” Koushirou says fondly, returning the smile as Mimi only beams wider. 

“With all of my friends, this is the best Christmas ever!” She squeals in glee, giving them another bone-crushing hug.

This one is an A.U. spin-off of sorts, with a pretty, “calm” song, and can easily be watched as a stand-alone!

A “missing scene” of Daisuke & Koushiro friendship from my other Adventures & 02 Chosen fic; “The Past World” You do not have to read that one to appreciate this “missing” moment, as its mainly friendship. There is a slight hint of Daisuke/Original (“Girl”) Character OC, but its more lightly implied; (Epilogue semi-canon compliant) There are also background relationships like Taichi/Koushiro, the slightest hint of background Ken/Daisuke, others hinted.
