I've been having another fake screenshot redraw in mind ever since the Beyond concept art dropped and... Initially, I wanted to use this for the prompt "Childhood / Adulthood", because... This would basically be the adult resolution of their childhood conflict: Taichi depending on Koushirou for directions, but not as equal combat partners, whereas Koushirou yearns for them to be equal in all aspects. So... This is them being borderline romantic instead, because that's what I need them to be.

TAIKOUVEMBER 2025 - ANNOUNCEMENT POST

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you to all 31 participants of the community poll! We thought hosting an entire week might be too ambitious, but we were happy to see that the majority of voters confirmed to be happy to participate or enjoy another event. So in the fourth year of Taikouvember, we keep things a little bit smaller.

November is the last month of autumn, right before Christmas time begins. It’s a time that can be filled with light and coziness, gloominess and melancholy, a time of contrasts. So, November 7th to November 9th shall be dedicated to the relationship between Taichi Yagami and Koushiro Izumi (Taikou, Koutai or mainly known as Taishiro(u) in the English speaking fandom). The prompts you may want to use throughout the entire weekend are the following:

You can interpret the prompts however you like. M e: In Taishiro/KouTai fandom we don't say {just, anyway} "I love you", we say things like "{Taichi-san}! I've watched you {implied as: /stood by your side} for all these years, isn't that r IGHT?!??!!" and I think that's way more beautiful and fulfilling a storyline for them than endless debates, from other fans or otherwise, on if Taichi and Koushiro ""are even"" "friends"
