Living with Mashirao Ojiro Headcanons:

After the humiliation of having his room dubbed ‘ordinary’ during his time at school, Ojiro can’t wait for you to move in with him.

Bring your posters, bring your figurines, he wants you to plaster your new home in every whacky wonder you want to.

Bonus points if you get there and you actually already like the way he’s decorated.

Don’t worry if you’re not a decisive person. When push comes to shove, Ojiro can voice his opinions, whether it’s choosing a movie, picking a takeout or helping you decide on an outfit for the day.

He appreciates having a voice around you.

He’s absolutely happy to do all the chores around the house, but you better do your fair share.

He won’t nag. He’ll just pick you up and drop you in front of the sink, piled high with dirty dishes if you’ve not done them in a while, then box you in with his arms so you can’t run away.

Expect lots of shoulder and neck kisses if you don’t put up a fight.

If you try to flee, he will lasso you with his tail.

Do your fair share.

Here’s hoping you’re not too tall, because Ojiro has pull-up bars installed in various doorways around the house.

If he has nothing better to do, expect to find him exercising on the bar installed in the living room with his shirt off, unintentionally very intentionally distracting you while you try to watch TV.

Having gone so long flying under everyone’s radar, he absolutely lives for your attention. He can’t get over how you look at him, like you actually care, like to you he doesn’t fade into the background.

You are his everything and he will absolutely try to surprise you at least once a month, if not more, with a date night, a movie night, a relaxing bubble bath after a tough day, gifts, surprise kisses, tickets to somewhere – he just wants you to know how happy you make him.

When it comes to sleeping next to each other, be wary. Make sure he has a spare pillow to wrap his tail around. If he rolls over so his back is to you and his tail isn’t latched onto that pillow, it’s going to latch on to you.

Which is fine. It’s cute.

Until he has a nightmare and his tail starts squeezing the life out of whatever it has hold of.

He’s a light sleeper and always wakes up when that happens, but boy are those few seconds of constriction terrifying.

He’s also an early riser. The house will start smelling of coffee at 5am before he heads out for a jog. You’re always welcome to join him!

But if you like your sleep, he’s more than happy to crawl back into bed once he’s finished and showered, stirring you awake with some morning cuddles.
