Nova was waiting quietly for her boyfriend to come home. Between nursing her nose and her vertigo, she just wanted to see his handsome face again. Nova's thoughts ran in her head like a sonic canon. Was the thrill of a chase more interesting? Why lie about being sick if you were just going somewhere unknown? and worst of all.

Was she Nova Abe too boring for her prince charming?

Nova hummed to herself when she heard someone on the fire exit. Nova's eyes widen when she saw the man of the hour. Nova puffed her cheeks when she saw him.

"Choi Taejin." Nova said. "You have a lot of explaining to do!!!"

Nova was trying to stay sane. So she busied herself handing out roses to the kids. For a moment there was a sentimental look in her eyes.

As corny as she felt, she couldn't deny the momentary happiness of everyone. The halloween party seemed like a distant memory. Even that terifying red haired man she met. For a moment she felt free. That was until she saw that man again. There was a hitch in her breath-so her illusion of the tails true. Nova shook her head.

No its just a conidence. Statiscally there's six faces that look like him. Nova approached slowly reminding herself that. There was a forced breath before she held out the rose.

"A rose for new beginnings." She offered.

There was tension in the air, no doubt from the unknown. But she was here for one reason- to get her debt back. With ten billion won is enough to get her own palace, to have her own protection, and to live as she pleases. There was only problem the fox who owed it.

The fae began to walk towards the elder a forced grin on her features as cut the conversation with the stranger off. "Pardon the interruption but I need to borrow Mr. Lee." She said with as much restraint as possible. As the stranger shuffled away her expression change.

"Well well if it isn't the great Lee Yeon himself." She said in practically older Korean she learned from the missionaries. The fae placed her delicate hand on his broad shoulder, slowly warming her fingers up in case he didn't cooperate. "You know what I want right."

Was Falin insane driving in an ice truck? Possibly. But did she care about Lee Yeon? Of course. As Falin sneaked out of the compund, she realized she needed a disguise. The face that came into her mind, she ignored the flash. She was going insane.

She controlled the wind the best she could, driving through the wind. Yes it was strong but Falin was the Spring Queen. The Queen of scorn, but a queen of determination. As her hair frizzed even more. She drove forward and stopped by the police station.

Falin stepped out, the glamour still in place. But she didn't know the face she used was the first love. Falin walked forward holding the ice cream pint. She held it forward for Lee Yeon to take. Falin scowled at him.

"Why are you looking at like that?" She asked confused.

Nova kept running and running. The pain is now more dull but her heart beating.

"Your fox isn't running around—it's trapped. You can sense its pain. You should get to work and set it free before it turns dangerous, and I have to kill it, Shrimp. Chop chop."

"Yare Yare (good grief.)" Nova felt something in her pocket. She looked at the object as she saw TJ's watch her pocket, feeling red hot. A fox, white in color was howling and began to run. Nova chased after it and turned the corner. The fox wasn't there but her boyfriend was. Nova without looking pulled her boyfriend into a hug. She gently pulled away, smudging the ink on his body. Nova looked at her boyfriend and cupped his face.

"Neoreul Chajasseoyo (I found you)." Nova whispered before kissing him, the tears streaming down her face.

Nova was clicking through the video footage once more. Her eyes scanning for any signs of the suspect. There was a fury in her clicks, the mouse practically feeling the pressure from her hands. . She found nothing once again, just like the last week, and week before. "Kuso fuck" Nova said in fustration. She took a deep breath and ripped off the glasses on her face, her now partially crimson hair emitting in the now blue light. She turned to her boyfriend looking tired.

"How do you do this job and not go insane?" Nova asked sincerely before reaching for his hand.

When Kevin sent that memo to both Mavi and TJ, maybe he was calmer. It was going to be a typical meeting, where Kevin heres them both out and zones out thinking about how convient it would be if an alien aabducted him. But that Kevin wasn't here

The man that entered the room was not the laid back Kevin. One look at his face, showed a Kevin a bit more stoic. No scent of weed of even the wheelchair. Instead there Kevin was at the doorway using crutches and holding the coffee and bagels. He looked at the both of them.

"I got one poppy seed bagel, less cream cheese. Coffee with sugar and milk." He said handing it to TJ. He looked at Mavi. "One garlic twist bagel. One caramel macchiato with soy milk." He said handing it to Mavi.

He settled himself down and blaced his own order in front of him. "You should enjoy the food, because the conversation will be less than pleasant." He said bluntly. "Does anyone want to put any ground rules before we start."
