SECTION VIEW TAKE #5.
after receiving feedback from my group during my presentation it was brought to my attention that the functionality for my Sectional view was misleading as to how the back wall actually functions as i had originally created pull tabs which let me pull the moving wall across in-order for the wall to change. this was wrong as the wall really moves by moving ford and backwards.
i then sat down and thought how i could best display this change, i couldn't use my previous laminated background for the room which i had originally planed to use as i had also made developmental changes to the layout of my room, as i no longer have the top floor and the non-wet water feature.
so i thought about how the walls move which led me to understanding that they move ford and backwards (which is also why i have that safety red guide around the surrounds of the floor which shows where people can/ can't walk so they don't get hit by the moving wall.
i have made this presentation to function in a way that allows the audience to interpret and get a understanding about how the functionality actually works. which is why i have cut out a slot where the wall is and Collaged it so that the ‘glass’ is 3d while attaching it to the end of a ruler allows me to push it through successfully thus make the viewer understand the functionality too.
in my feedback i also was informed by my group that i need to make the colour choice for the images (each views) consistent so it looks like they are all from one presentation, i have gone about doing this by changing the background and enhancing the blue and white colours while making the grounds dark colours darker too. this is used to make the consistency throughout my work more noticeable.
