after undergoing the development of my take #5 we were then required to present our design stop the class and the feedback i received personally for my design was that the colour choice needed to be consistent throughout the design development of all 4 of my designs (as my ‘Other’ is a Twinmotion video which i have also developed and is in my blog too). i was told that the layout for my Perspective view was great as i developed it on sketch and exported it to indigo which rendered then i got it laminated which created that professional effect and then i collaged the glass 3d effect to visually display to my audience what i am intending to complete.
SECTION VIEW; for my section view the feedback i received from my presentation was that i should keep the angle the same as it shows my main feature, while i should remove the top part of my building and remove the non-wet water which was located in the front of the design. i was also told to re-consider the interactive part to it (the image shown above for my Take #5 image for sectional view is 2D as i thought this would be the clearest way of displaying what i am trying to portray, however there is a video of how i have acted on this feedback and made my design still interactive as i feel this shows the design at its best points. so i have developed this by making my wall come out 3D which pushes ford and moves back, in the motion it would when fully functional. i acted on my groups feedback and this image provided is the outcome i came to when acting on this feedback.
ELEVATION VIEW; the feedback i received last time during my presentation for this view was i need to remove the top floor and the non-wet water part as well as making the colour choice consistent throughout my designs (continuation of the blues and dark colours) as well as situating in the environmental location while having the main focus on the building and not making the environment and title the main focus. i have done this by making the room the main focus in the image, i have made the background of the environment faded while this enhances the focus point as being the room overall. i have made the front tree blue in colour as this reflects my theme colour which is consistent throughout my designs, as otherwise the only blue part of this design would be the entry door so i have made this more visually appealing and understanding that this image is part of this collection of views. i have also made the changes to my design in terms of removing the hop half of my building and the non-wet water entry. i have overall acted on every form of feedback i received from my group to increase the development of my room.
PERSPECTIVE VIEW; i have developed nothing on my perspective view as when presenting to my group i was informed that they loved every part of this design as it gives a understandable representation of the interior of my room and my group also said that they liked the 2d image with the 3d collage as it allowed them to understand how it works and how it moves ford as the function. they also liked the choice of colours, which is why for the development of my other designs i have also used these colours as it shows a visual representation that these designs link together. i was informed overall that this design was the best one of them all, which is why i have not made any changes.
FLOOR PLAN; the feedback i received from my presentation for my floor plan was that i need to continue my colour choice thought the design, while my group said that they liked the design layering. i was also informed that i should locate my floor plan in the environment location because this will therefore make it look more like a floor plan (primarily because it was located on a purple surface this made it not look like a floor plan and also because the shape of the room has corners and shapes this also makes it look multi purposeful when flipped around on the page. i have taken this feedback into consideration and have made the changes where i felt appropriate. i have included the colours blue into my design as this makes it link with the other designs providing it looks like its from the same presentation to my other designs. because it is a floor plan for the environmental location feedback i decided to actually use the map of the location and situate my image on this. the reason being this will also allow the viewer to identify this is a floor plan from first glance and not be confused as to what the design is showing.
OTHER; for my other i have created a Twinmotion video which is located on my blog, however i couldn't upload to this post because it is a video format, like these views i have also developed the design and presentation in-order to meet the feedback of my peers during my presentation in class.
overall, this is my final designs for my Space and i have acted on both the feedback of my peers and the feedback from my tutors Oli and Merica in-order to develop my design in the best possible way.
