Simon and Baz meet on the set of their new television programme, DIY Romance. Cue weeks of pining, dark looks and fumbled lines. Simon's inability to keep the script right in his mind can't have anything to do with his ridiculously good looking co-star, can it? 

It's hard, falling in love with Baz every week. Without actually falling in love, I mean.

We meet in different settings, but the episodes always end same the way...we share an achingly detached stage kiss, and then the week after, we begin again as strangers. Like it never happened.

Like it meant nothing.

WHOA.

I decided to add the second recordings (the ones made of each word AFTER telling each person what the project was about).

I continued an already set up “rhythmic cluster” and simply switched each word to the second recording while maintaing the same rhythms.

I am quite surprised-and almost scared-of these results! It’s the same rhythms and words, but it sounds very different.

There is a symbol crash in the “hip hop kit” track that occurs at the beginning of the switch-over measure. I think it takes a few measures to notice the switch.

Today was one of the most exhausting yet most rewarding days in a very long time. I never get tired of spending time with my a capella people, making and sharing music, and learning from others. Even though most people will have no idea what I'm talking about, I feel like I have to share how I'm feeling at this moment.
