Hehe. The Lyle
What's up with evil Sam. I stop constantly checking the took outside tag and then evil sam pops up and then pops up in the discord server. Or is evil sam a spore infection /joke.
I NEED TO KICK LYLE REPEATEDLY SO BADLY /AFF
Breaking my silence to ask if that flipping "wrong answer liberal" and the other responses are real. Chat is this real.
Do you think people have "I survived the gorenado and all I got was this shirt" type of merch post-visiter.
Yes I'm talking about whitewashing again. Don't click if you don't want to.
OKAY. NO MORE GIVING EXCUSES AS TO WHY YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY USE BLACK SKIN TONES. Whitwashing isn't about you. You need to give everyone IRL an explanation as to why you don't like to use their skin color. Style isn't an excuse. By definition, style is how you make the lines look, not who your subject is. They're TWO different things. You need to write to your fellow Black people and poc in the fandom, as to why you refuse to represent them without making it about yourself.
STOP MAKING WHITEWASHING ABOUT YOU!!!!
Also if you think that "it's not about skin color" that shows you don't take the time to listen to Black people and poc's voices. Like, do you think that its just "white trolls" getting angry? Or do poc and Black voices not matter to you? You do realize that noticing systematic racism is a survival strategy for these people right? You're telling them that they aren't welcome in your presence.
Okay you know what. I am so angry that I don't care if I main tag this. Whatever you're excuse is, WHITEWASHING ISN'T ABOUT YOU. The fact that white people's feelings are more valuable then actual POCs and Black people is kinda of heinous. You need to give them, IRL POC and Black people an actual answer of why you refuse to represent them instead of ignoring them everytime this comes up. Irl people see what you're doing and I bet it doesn't feel good to look and everywhere you see people just don't like your skin tone. Like, you realize your fucking up irl people at this point right. Whitwashing is literally fucking not about you. Drawing someone Black or anyone with darker skin is not the fucking end of the world.
If you can't acknowledge Black people and POC why are you even in the look outside fandom. If you like the characters then why can't you acknowledge their skin color. Why does skin color have to matter if you like the character. Do people have to act to match their skin color to you? Do they have to be stereotypes and off to the side to be enjoyable?
