A Kingdom Hearts idea

Now that it’s clear we’re not getting Moana in Kingdom Hearts III (yet), here’s a few of my boyfriend’s and my ideas for it so the game doesn’t beat us to it:

Te Ka is the result of Te Fiti slowly becoming a Heartless due to her heart being stolen

Maui is the guest party member and Lalotai is a major stage

The Keyblade for that level is shaped like Maui’s fish hook

Tamatoa is on Maleficent’s Council. Sort of like the Cheshire Cat, he was an iffy pick for them because one member reeeeaaaaalllllly didn’t like the idea of a sea creature that eats humans joining the team (three guesses who that could be), but then, well: “Oi, Jimmy, there was some croc swimmin’ around outside, said ‘e knew you but ‘e looked fishy to me, so I ate ‘im.” (picks something out of his teeth) “Hey, is this your clock?” “... Welcome aboard.”

I feel like video games would be more realistic (and more fun) if background characters’ conversations were more interesting- I don’t want to keep passing people who say stuff like “oh it’s a beautiful day today.”

I wanna run by people who complain about how they were tricked into helping the brother move into his new apartment. Or how they went to their aunt’s for dinner and the chicken was dry and flavourless.
