Today I was dealt some news I didn't want to hear. It wasn't the worst news, but it was still not ideal. I'm sure somewhere on the internet I could find a meme to feel better about myself and not feel like I failed, but what fun is there in that?

I think it's important to feel defeated. It's necessary to know how much harder you need to try. I'm just getting started here, so it wouldn't make for a great story if I were to succeed at my first or second attempt, now would it?
