MITSUYA TAKASHI had always said he didn’t have a favorite color.
When his classmates argued about which shade was the prettiest–some said sky blue, others cherry red, and a few, emerald green–he barely listened. Someone even mentioned a hex code he couldn’t be bothered to remember. With a pencil between his fingers, he was sketching something no one else could see. “Colors don’t mean anything unless you give them purpose.” he used to believe.
But that was before you.
You showed up at the sewing club one afternoon wearing a lilac cardigan, the kind of soft purple shade that looked like it could melt into spring air. Mitsuya looked up from his work, halfway through hemming Smiley's jacket, and forgot what he was doing for an embarrassing second.
“Hey, 'kashi,” you greeted with that smile that always made his chest feel too small. Not to mention the nickname only you got to use. “Could you help me fix this? The button fell off.”
He nodded, took the cardigan, and set to work with quiet focus. You leaned on the table beside him, watching his hands move–steady, precise, looking angelic as ever. He had to admit it was a little pressuring, especially when someone good-looking was watching—definitely different from those times the principal came by for the yearly observation.
When he finished, he handed it back shyly, without looking at you as he packed up. “There. Good as new.”
You slipped it on again, smoothing the fabric. “You’re a lifesaver. I owe you one.”
He smiled, whispering a soft, ‘you’re welcome. But when you left, the faint scent of lavender lingered.
That night, he sat at his desk under the warm lamplight, flipping through his collection of fabric. Blues, greens, reds–all of them dull and lifeless. Then he found it: a scrap of pastel lilac he’d bought months ago and never thought of using.
It was soft to the touch. Comforting. Familiar. You.
The next day, when Draken asked in passing what color he wanted for a keychain (probably another one of Mikey and Takemichi’s stunts), this time Mitsuya didn’t even hesitate.
He smiled as if remembering a fond memory.
“Lilac.” he answered, as if it had always been his favorite.
Let's imagine that all characters aren't minors. And sorry, I got too lazy to do covers for each character :v (maybe I'll update again with the covers when I don't feel this lazy)
Mikey
Mikey refuses to spend Christmas anywhere but with you. He drags a futon, blankets, snacks, and even attempts to hang lights (they fall three times).
He gives you a small gift: something handmade. A charm, probably.
He rests his head on your lap while watching a movie, expression soft, eyelids heavy.
For once, he looks peaceful, like the boy he should’ve been able to stay.
“Stay tonight… It’s better when you’re here.”
Draken
Draken decorates the place surprisingly well, mostly because Emma once taught him, and he still remembers.
He cooks something simple but warm, a quiet dinner for two.
He stands behind you at the kitchen counter, arms around your waist, silently for a long moment.
“…Yeah. This is good. You and me. I like this.”
Baji Keisuke
Baji is all bark at first
“Christmas is lame”
Yet he brings you a huge stocking stuffed with snacks, cat toys for your cats, and a wrapped box for you.
You spend the night laughing, throwing popcorn, the two of you ending up sprawled on the floor with Peke J peeking out of the tree.
Baji grins, leaning close:
“Next year… same place. And only with you.”
Chifuyu
Chifuyu has a perfect Christmas aesthetic: cocoa, soft lights, candles, cat photos everywhere.
He gives you a sweater he knitted. It’s slightly crooked.
He blushes when you put it on and kiss his cheek.
He makes you stay until late, curled together under blankets with Peke J sleeping on both of you.
Baji + Chifuyu (Poly)
Both boys fight over what to cook. Baji burns something, Chifuyu complains, you laugh at them.
They end up teaming to spoil you:
Baji pulls you into his lap; Chifuyu leans over your shoulder, offering dessert.
They rival each other in affection, trying to see which one you react to more.
Eventually, both end up sandwiching you between them on the couch, warm, safe, adored.
Kazutora
He decorates with golden lights. Something soft, warm, not overwhelming.
He spends most of the night quietly watching you, like he still can’t believe you’re real.
He gives you a bracelet he made himself.
“Christmas is… kinder with you,” he whispers.
Takemichi
He tries so hard.
The cake collapses. The lights flicker. The presents are wrapped with too much tape.
But he beams because he got to spend it with you.
He rambles about wanting future Christmases together, without tragedy for once.
He's so earnest it’s impossible not to kiss him for it.
Mitsuya
The coziest Christmas of all.
A warm living room, handmade decorations, his sisters giggling as they give you presents.
Mitsuya drapes a soft handmade scarf over your shoulders and whispers:
“I made it thinking of you.”
You help him bake, decorate, and fall asleep on his shoulder under the lights.
Hakkai
Hakkai goes all out on decorations... too much, actually, but he loves it.
He makes hot chocolate and talks about how grateful he is for you.
He blushes intensely if you kiss his cheek.
Sanzu (Bonten)
Sanzu’s Christmas is expensive, chaotic, and slightly dangerous.
He buys you an absurd amount of gifts: designer, rare liquor, jewelry... like he doesn’t know what Christmas is, but he knows he wants you spoiled.
He lounges on the couch, head on your thigh, inhaling your scent with a lazy grin.
“Open another one. I like your reactions.”
Ran Haitani
Ran throws a seductive, luxurious private Christmas for two:
Dim lights, wine, silk sheets, lazy kisses.
He calls you “baby” a little too much.
He insists on slow dancing with you under fairy lights.
“Consider me your Christmas present. And next year’s too.”
Rindou Haitani
Rindou pretends he doesn’t care about holidays but decorates just for you.
He puts on music, makes hot chocolate, tries to act cool but melts when you sit in his lap.
“You’re warm… stay like this.”
Kakucho
Quiet. Peaceful.
He prepares a traditional dinner, neatly arranged.
He listens to you talk for hours, smiling softly, brushing your hair out of your face.
“You make even harsh winters feel gentle.”
Izana
Izana transforms Christmas into a royal event: candles, elegant dinner, perfect atmosphere.
Yet the only moment he truly relaxes is when you two are alone by the fireplace.
He cups your face, forehead touching yours.
“…Stay. I don’t want this to end.”
Inupi
He works until late but keeps checking the clock because he knows you’re coming.
He saves a small wrapped box for you. A charm, something meaningful.
He leans his head on your shoulder while sharing snacks on the cold shop floor.
“This place feels warmer when you’re here.”
Koko
Koko gives you a mountain of gifts.
You tease him about it, and he shrugs.
“It’s Christmas. And you deserve the world.”
He pulls you onto his lap as he hands you the most expensive gift last.
He watches your reaction carefully, wanting to see joy on your face.
Shinichiro
Shinichiro hosts a simple, heartwarming Christmas.
Hot drinks, his old record player, blankets laid out on the floor.
He fixes something small for you, like a music box, and hands it over proudly.
He kisses your forehead gently.
“You make me feel lucky.”
Akkun
A quiet dinner, warm and gentle.
He decorates his entire place just to see you smile.
He keeps staring at you with a soft, almost shy look.
“You being here… it means a lot.”
Emma
Emma loves Christmas passionately.
She drags you around decorating, dressing cute, making sweets.
She gives you a little bracelet as a symbol of your bond.
“Next year, let’s make it even better!”
Hinata
The warmest, most wholesome Christmas.
She prepares dinner, organizes board games, and wraps gifts beautifully.
She makes sure you feel cherished and cared for.
“You’re family to me.”
Hanma
Hanma’s Christmas is chaotic but fun.
He buys weird gifts on purpose, just to see you laugh.
He drapes himself over you, long limbs everywhere.
He whispers, “You’re my favorite holiday.”
Kokonoi (Bonten)
Pure luxury.
Champagne, velvet, designer outfits.
He sits you on the bed and places each expensive gift on your lap one by one.
“You deserve to be spoiled. Don’t argue.”
Ran (Bonten)
Golden lights, sweet wine, half-buttoned shirt.
He kisses your neck lazily as you open gifts.
“Spoiling you is fun. Watching you get flustered is even better.”
Rindou (Bonten)
Soft Christmas, surprisingly gentle.
He plays music, sets up lights, makes you sit on his lap while opening gifts.
Leans his forehead on your shoulder.
“…Don’t leave yet.”
Mikey (Bonten) (Platonic)
He silently decorates with black-and-silver ornaments.
He gives you a rare, small smile when you bring him Christmas snacks.
You sit beside him while he works, your presence calming him.
“…Stay with me tonight. It’s quieter with you here.”
Souya (Angry)
He tries to bake cookies... they burn.
He cries.
You hug him, and he instantly calms down, with big puppy eyes looking up at you.
He gives you a clumsy, handmade gift and beams when you praise it.
Nahoya (Smiley)
Party vibe.
He insists on taking a thousand pictures with you.
He teases you nonstop but hugs you tightly when you least expect it.
“You’re the best part of my holidays!”
Yuzuha
Cozy, snowy, peaceful.
She brews tea and sits with you wrapped in blankets.
She gives you a thoughtful, handmade gift.
“Let’s take care of each other this winter.”
"Y/N!" You let out a scream as you heard Mikey pounding on your bathroom door. You were completely naked, getting ready to hop in the shower when your oh so loving boyfriend decided to pound on the door.
"Let me in!" Mikey yelled as the pounding sound continued.
"I'm getting in the shower!" you yelled back grabbing a towel and wrapping it around your torso. The sound paused for a moment before Mikey continued, only louder. "Oh my god!" you yelped, unlocking the door and letting the boy inside.
"Woah-" Mikey said, his eyes going wide as he barged into the bathroom. He held a large bowl of ice water.
"What the hell are you doing with that?" you asked, looking down at the bowl of ice water.
"...get in the shower," he said, trying to hide the bowl behind his back.
"...why do you have the bowl Manjiro?" you asked, narrowing your eyes at the blonde haired boy. He approached you slowly, causing you to step back towards the shower. "Manjiro..."
"Hold still baby," he said, raising the water bowl high above his head.
"Manjiro!" you screeched as he poured the water over your head, drenching you in ice cold water and ice cubes on the tiles of the floor. You stared at him with wide eyes and a dropped jaw. "You're dead," you hissed.
𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚛𝚘 𝚂𝚊𝚗𝚘
"Hey baby?" Shinichiro said, opening the door to your bedroom, not giving you much time to cover up your bare chest.
"Wait-!" You tried- but it was too late. Shinichiro looked at you with wide eyes as you covered your chest with your arms. He held a fast food menu in his hands.
"Um-" His eyes scanned your topless figure, pink dusting his cheeks. "You- damn I'll never get old of this picture...." he mumbled.
"Don't barge in like that-" you whined, throwing a nearby shirt at the taller black haired man.
"It's not like I haven't seen it before," he chuckled, flinching slightly as the shirt hit his shoulder. "Just wondering what you wanted to eat tonight?"
"Just the usual," you grumbled, going to push him out of the bedroom. "Knock next time please."
"You look beautiful baby," he chuckled, letting you push him out of the room.
𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚏𝚞𝚢𝚞 𝙼𝚊𝚝𝚜𝚞𝚗𝚘
Chifuyu pushed open your door, his face buried in his manga as he did. You and Chifuyu had recently moved into a shared dorm room and both of you were still getting used to the idea of living intimately with another person.
"Chifuyu!" you exclaimed, quickly covering your naked body with a nearby shirt.
"Huh? Oh- oh shit!" Chifuyu exclaimed, his face turning a deep red as he looked up at your hardly covered body. "Oh... shit." His eyes scanned your body, making the tips of your ears flush.
"Chifuyu!" you repeated, giving him a shy look.
"Right- right- sorry," he said, shaking his head and turning around to walk out of the room. You couldn't help but smile softly as you caught the wide grin on his face before he left.
𝙱𝚊𝚓𝚒 𝙺𝚎𝚒𝚜𝚞𝚔𝚎
"BABE! I- honey, stop screaming," Baji said, throwing open the shower curtain, despite you trying to cover yourself. "Just look." He showed you his phone, only to reveal a video of Chifuyu getting kicked in the balls by a kindergartener.
"Ba- wait, how did that even happen?" you asked, looking at the screen a bit closer.
"He tried to play a game with Mitsuya's little sisters," Baji chuckled, looking at the phone himself before looking at you. "Damn."
"Get out of here," you chuckled, pushing Baji away from the shower weakly.
"Nuh uh- I'm getting in there!" Baji said, giving you a cheeky grin and pulling off his clothes with an unexplainable speed.
"Baji!" you yelped with a laugh as he hopped into the shower.
𝚃𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚖𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚒 𝙷𝚊𝚗𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚔𝚒
You watched with wide eyes as Takemichi barged into your bedroom. His eye and lip was swollen and his hair was messy. He was rambling about something from the future and a recent fight and Mikey and Draken, oblivious to your shirtless figure watching him.
"Um- Takamichi?" you said, looking at him with a raised brow.
"Huh?" the blonde boy looked over at you, his eyes sudden going wide and his whole face turning a dark red hue. "AAAAAAAAH! I'm so sorry!" he yelled, quickly turning around and placing his face against the door. "I-I just have so much I want to tell you. Oh my god I'm so sorry. Let me know when you're finished."
You never even got the chance to say anything as he shuffled out the door.
𝙺𝚎𝚗 "𝙳𝚛𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚗" 𝚁𝚢𝚞𝚐𝚞𝚓𝚒
"Hey beautiful," Ken said as he walked into your shared bedroom.
"Hey handsome," you responded, looking at your half naked figure in the mirror. "Do I look like I'm gaining some weight?"
"Not particularly," he shrugged, creeping up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist. "Look as beautiful as ever baby." He leaned down and placed a few kisses along the skin of your neck.
𝙸𝚣𝚊𝚗𝚊 𝙺𝚞𝚛𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚠𝚊
You and your boyfriend had recently moved into an apartment together. You had to start getting used to living together with someone, them seeing you naked, smelling your morning breath, seeing you after a night out.
Some took more adjusting than others.
"I could get used to this," Izana's voice chuckled from the doorway. You whipped around to see Izana staring at your topless figure with a loving smile.
"You can't just walk in on me like that," you scoffed, blushing slightly and going to grab a shirt.
"Why not? It's my room too," he chuckled, going to grab the shirt from your hands. "And I'm loving the view, pretty." He cupped your cheek and kissed you softly.
You froze in place as his lips touched yours. You allowed yourself to fall into it, your hand going to grab his arm as your eyes fluttered closed.
"I'll let you get dressed," Izana mumbled, pulling away from your lips.
"I can wait," you said, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him closer to you.
𝚃𝚊𝚔𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚒 𝙼𝚒𝚝𝚜𝚞𝚢𝚊
Takashi smiled softly as he wandered into your room. He watched with a shy blush as you danced to whatever was playing in your headphones, dressed in only a bra and sweatpants. He leaned on the door for a second longer, counting his blessings for being the one to capture the heart of such a beautiful person such as yourself. After a few seconds longer he left the room and you were none the wiser to his presence.

(IM SORRY IF SOME ARE OOC CAUSE- CAUSE I DON'T KNOW ALL THE CHARACTERS ALL TOO WELL
Look, my interpretation is this: Mikey is a vulnerable person. He wants Takemichi to control him, scold him, and keep him in check from any foolishness he might commit, just like Shinichiro used to do.
But it’s clear that, even though he compares them, he doesn’t categorize them as equals in his life or see them in the same way. He always says to take care of him, but he never specifically says to do it like a brother.
And it might sound far-fetched, but just think about it: there’s not just one scene where he says to take care of him but doesn’t specify to do it like a brother—there are TWO scenes. That’s deliberate on Wakui’s part.
He was drawing the story with a deadline, so he had to carefully plan the dialogues.
Besides, Mikey never lacked brothers. He has all of Toman, who are practically brothers, a family. And let’s not even talk about Draken, who literally acts like his babysitter. Draken also takes care of him.
So, the care he wants from Takemichi is different—it’s much deeper and more complex than it seems. Mikey sees something in Takemichi; he inspires trust in him, and Takemichi has a certain power over him to calm his dark impulses. He’s not asking Takemichi to take care of him like a kid, but to be with him because he feels Takemichi is the only one who can help him with his curse. Because Takemichi is the only person who can keep his sanity in check. That same power over him was something Shinichiro had.
It’s not that he needs a brother; he needs that comfort and security from the two people he loves.
And this becomes even more obvious in Manila. Thirteen years had passed since the Takemichi from the past “left him,” so to speak, and yet Mikey still remembered him, loved him, and needed to see him. I mean, are you telling me that someone spent thirteen years obsessed with someone just because they reminded him of his little brother, to the point of killing his childhood best friends? What did Takemichi have that the others didn’t?
Easy: Mikey wasn’t looking for Takemichi because he needed a brother. He was looking for him because Takemichi was someone who helped him feel better and provided him with warmth. That’s why, as he was losing his life and his senses were fading, he could feel warmth when he touched Takemichi’s hands.
So, those two panels don’t mean that he wants Takemichi to take care of him like a brother or that he considered him one. He mentions Shinichiro because he was his first safe haven, the only one who knew about his curse and could control him. That’s why he also tells Takemichi, so that he knows and can take care of him too. And even though he compared them at first, he never gave any indication that he saw them as equals. Shinichiro is his brother, and Takemichi is just a friend.
Mikey hates his dark impulses and desperately wants someone to protect him from his curse, just like Shinichiro did. That’s the meaning behind those two panels.
Of course, he misses Shinichiro and it hurts him. At first, Mikey approached Takemichi because he reminded him of his brother’s values and determination, but he has never seen Takemichi as a replacement for Shinichiro. He loves Takemichi simply for who he is, because he has observed him, lived through things with him, and knows him.
GENRE: Pure Fluff, Soft Romance, Comfort, Extremely Wholesome
WARNINGS: None (just a very emotional and loving boyfriend).
AUTHOR'S NOTE: With this, I'm going to die of love. TAKEMICHI, YES, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, I'm going to cry. 😭😭💘 Well, I'd better shut up and let you read the headcanon. Enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! 🌷
──── 卍 ────
Takemichi's favorite physical contact is holding your hand. It doesn't matter if you're walking down the street, watching a movie, or talking with friends; he'll intertwine his fingers firmly with yours. For him, feeling your hand is his greatest reminder that you're safe and by his side.
Despite being your boyfriend, he still gets incredibly shy when you show him unexpected affection. If you steal a kiss on the cheek in public or hug him unexpectedly, his face will turn bright red, and he'll start stammering with a nervous smile.
His hugs are enveloping and a little dramatic. He'll often cling to you and bury his face in your shoulder, taking deep breaths. You don't need to know everything he's been through to understand that being in your arms is his only moment of absolute peace.
Forget about lavish plans. Your dates with Takemichi will consist of eating burgers and fries at fast-food joints, walking in the park sharing a melting ice cream cone, or spending the afternoon at the arcade trying to win a plushie on the claw machine (and failing miserably until he finally succeeds after twenty attempts).
Takemichi will celebrate every little good thing that happens to you as if he'd won the lottery. Did you pass a difficult exam? Had a good day at work? He'll jump for joy, congratulate you with eyes sparkling with pride, and want to take you out to dinner to celebrate.
It's inevitable that he'll show up at your place with some scrape, bruise, or new bandage. Your routine will include sitting him on your bed while you carefully clean his wounds. He'll complain a little about the stinging, but he'll completely melt when you kiss the injured area "so it heals faster."
Takemichi may not be the best fighter and he may be afraid of many things, but if someone dares to bother you or put you in danger, all that fear vanishes. He'll step between you and the threat without a second thought. He doesn't care about taking a beating himself as long as he makes sure you don't get a scratch.
When you're having a bad day or doubting yourself, Takemichi will be your greatest support. He'll look you straight in the eyes and tell you how amazing, strong, and special you are. His words have a magical power because he speaks them with such pure sincerity that it's impossible not to believe him.
Deep down, all the effort Takemichi puts in every day is to ensure a future where you can smile. When he gazes at you silently with a nostalgic and tender smile, it's because he's thinking about how lucky he is to have you in his life and is internally promising himself to make you the happiest person in the world.
Thanks for reading. I really love Takemichi, I don't know if it shows, LMAO. 👻
Maybe my next headcanon will be about a girl, because I haven't seen that many headcanons or other things about the Tokyo Revengers girls, if there are but not as many as for the boys, or if not, you can give me ideas. 🫶
