the  night  had  been  everything  mariah  had  hoped  for.  the  holiday  in  itself  was  one  of  her  favorites,  the  opera  house  decorated  so  perfectly  her  heart  could  have  burst  into  confetti.  pink  and  red  heart-shaped  things  filled  the  main  room  around  everyone  thus  making  the  lover  girl  inside  of  her  come  full  to  the  surface.  the  blonde  walked  around  with  a  drink  in  hand,  chatting  with  some  of  her  girlfriends  and  taking  in  the  beautiful  evening  that  had  transpired.  though  through  everyone  else,  all  she  could  see  was  takeshita.  he  was  in  every  corner  of  her  brain  and  mariah  looked  right  through  the  other's  just  for  her  eyes  to  glow  onto  him.

he  was  tucked  away  in  a  corner,  mariah's  red  dress  trailing  behind  her  as  she  walked  up  closer  to  his  presence.  her  manicured  hand  wrapped  around  his  bicep  with  ease,  blood  red  lips  curving  into  a  smile.  “hey  handsome.”  her  voice  was  soft,  a  kiss  being  placed  where  his  cheek  dimpled.  “would  you  like  a  dance?”
