The others had been kidnapped and Levi had been jumped. Mick wants to be suiting up himself instead of Levi with his broken leg, but his star was melted down long ago to make way for the other stars.

Mick doesn't want to do this, but... "You are getting very sleepy," Mick murmurs, tracing an imaginary line through the air. He lacks a watch on a long chain to do this with and he actively prays this works.

Levi's leg is broken, the others are all kidnapped, and Dane is away on a business trip for Preston's father (who kindly gave him a job after he "finally escaped the wilderness"), Mick is out of options and out of time. "Very sleepy," the shapeshifter says again.

Levi's eyes droop and flutter, and Mick wants to slap himself for thinking this is a good idea. But he's out of options and out of time. Levi has to go in, broken leg or not.

"You're getting very sleepy."

Vanessa is mine, Fend is Penguin's, and Ronin belongs to Estel. They are Legacy Ranhers and on the Wild Charge team. Vanessa is the Purple Wolf Ranger, Fend is the Gold Bear Ranger, and Ronin is the Pink Tiger Ranger.

"Such a good boy, aren't you?" Vaness asks as Ronin waits on the bed. They're dressed in an adorable tiger outfit, one that Vanessa had put them in herself. "Fend, don't you think they're a good boy?"

Fend nods eagerly. "Yeah," he says. "Yeah, they are," he replies. He runs his hands of Ronin's body. "Wanna make him feel good, they're bein' so good for us."

Vanessa nods. "Yeah," she says. "Yeah, go ahead. Let them be a good boy for you, Fend."

Fend wastes no time in doing so. Vanessa smiles and watches patiently.

"I deserve it," Nick says.

Kenzie frowns at him. "No, you don't," she says.

Nick shakes his head, continuing to organize his work area. "I can't- trust myself around you anymore. Around anyone anymore... I hurt you, I hurt the team, I..." He closes his eyes against the memories. Kenzie blinks, viewing the probabilities. Chances of Nick continuing to push the team—push Kenzie—away, too high.

Kenzie can't let that stand.

"You don't get to do that."

Nick looks up, startled. "What?" he asks.

Kenzie puts a hand on her hip, the other fiddling with her sleeve. "You don't get to do that," she repeats. "Decide you don't deserve us."

"...Kenzie," Nick tries to say.

Kenzie shakes her head. "No," she says. It's the Red Voice. The Leader voice. The one she uses when she wants the team to listen with no question. The one uses on the battlefield. "I've been listening patiently. It's my turn to talk now." Nick wisely shuts his mouth. "You don't get to decide what you do and don't deserve. You don't get to choose that for us. For me."

Kenzie's eyes water, her fist clenching. "You listen to me, Nick Jones. I did not endure the pits of hell just so you could look me in the eyes and tell me you're not worthy of me any more. That's my decision and you will not take that away from me. I love you. And you love me. And I want you here. On my side. On my team."

The tears slips and Kenzie watches Nick in agony. "So come back to us," she pleads.

"You're so controlling!" Vanessa snaps. Her skirt is dirt stained and torn, her blouse is loose and hanging off one shoulder. Her face is cut up and there's a bruise on her cheek, but when Laura had asked-

"Van, please, all I asked was if you were okay!" Laura tries, her voice level despite the confusion and worry.

Vanessa scoffs, all of nineteen with her father's temper and none of the control. "You just want to know so you can ban me from seeing all my friends!" she snaps.

Laura hadn't wanted that, but now she kinda does. Because if that friend is making Vanessa act like this? No, this isn't how Dad and Daddy raised them and Lupin. "That's not what I wanted, Ness, please. Just talk to me, what's wrong?

Vanessa shakes her head and turns away. As she's walking away, Laura sees a little chameleon pin on her jacket. Laura gasps softly. She knows exactly what's happened.

Fend nods and continues kissing and touch the trembling body in his lap. Vanessa's already gotten them both off twice without once concerning herself with her own pleasure. Tonight's about them, of course. Ronin moans softly as Fend suck another mark into their neck. "Miss, please," Ronin begs.

Heckyl flinches. "N- Now, Nick, we talked about this," he tries to say. He feels awful for leaving Nick behind, and Nick knows that. They patched things up a long time ago. But Nick's eyes flicker with the magic placed on him by the monster of the week.

"Shut up! You don't get to do that! You don't get to come back like this, you deadbeat!" Nick shouts.

And Heckyl will do anything to get Nick back.

"Frank! Frank, please! It's me, Anita! You know me, Frank, come-" Anita cuts off with a yelp, Frank's hand punching the wall where her head had been moments before. "Frank!" she cries.

But Frank doesn't answer. Heck, he doesn't even move like he's awake. He'll start to speak every now and then, just nonsense words like he's muttering to himself. Anita can sense the sudden darkness in him and she knows how to stop it, but she needs Tim and she needs Frank to fight.

"Frank," she tries again, deMorphing and looking him in his helmet covered eyes. "Frank, please. It's me. It's Anita."

Frank pauses. His helmet dips. Behind it, his eyes glow red. "Demon," he breathes.

Anita's face drops. "No," she whispers. "Frank, fight it, please!"

But Frank can't hear her. And Anita is slowly loosing hope that he will.

"Kenzie?" Nick asks softly. His Red watches him as he sits tied to the chair "Kenzie, please. This isn't you... Snakeyes and Naganta-"

"Are no longer a problem," Kenzie interupts. She smoothly gets to her feet and comes over, slipping into Nick's lap. She's done this before, she already knows exactly how to act to get her way. Granted it was for something much less important, choosing their date spot, but still. "I took care of them for you, Nicky," she murmurs. She brushes his hair from his face. "You don't have to worry about them anymore." She kisses him softly, then turns and stands again.

"Whatever they did to you, Kenz, we can fix this!" Nick says, trying to free his hands. "Just let me go, okay?"

Kenzie does no such thing. "After all the trouble I went through?" she pouts. "I just need to make a few modifications to things, and then you'll never have to worry about anything again." Kenzie is a Queen. A general. A natural disaster of her own making. Kenzie will keep her partners safe or die trying. And she has no plans to die anytime soon.

Kenzie turns back to fave Nick and sets a simple spiral circle on the table in front of him. Kenzie's plan is simple. She makes sure Nick's attention stays on the spiral and once Nick is nice and suggestable, she can program the proper commands into his head.

Heedless of Nick's struggles, Kenzie starts the spiral turning and slips back into Nick's lap. "Aw, baby," she croons, kissing his cheek. "It's gonna be okay, I promise. Just need to have you loyal. You can do that."

Nick groans, unable to stop watching the spiral no matter how much he tries. "Kenz," he breathes in protest, but it's already too late.

"You can do that, Nick," Kenzie says again. "Can't you?"

Nick is silent for a few moments. Then, the words sounding punched out, Nick replies, "Yes, my love."

Kenzie smirks.
