It was love too
been thinking about takisuga and sharing lately.
how takiko has spent her whole life sharing and being shared and finding this so burdensome. the emotional connections she has are never her own—not in the sense that she's sharing the connection with one other person, but that she has to share the right to connect with that person with someone else, always playing substitute. to asuga, sharing is the only way to minimise discord. if everyone is treated fairly, no one can resent each other. but to takiko, sharing like this, sharing a spot in sugi's life with someone who deceived her and betrayed her trust like taka, is unfair in itself.
