Ben made his way through the base towards Tala’s quarters, his loud footsteps ringing out amongst the overall quietness of the base. They had planned to get in some training after the morning’s briefing and since things were much slower on the First Order Base, Ben had all the time in the galaxy to spend strengthening their skills. He liked working with Tala, she was strong to say the least, and constantly kept him on his toes. He always felt like he too was learning something even when he was teaching her. And while Ben’s intentions were very heavily towards moving to a place of peace, it was still important to practice and train his skills because there was no certain way to know that bringing about peace wouldn’t come from opposition. Reaching her quarters, he knocked on the door. “Hey! It’s me.” The tall man leans up against the cool wall of the base, waiting for her to be ready.
