We visited the Old Talbott Tavern in Bardstown during our last night on the @KentuckyBourbonTrail before staying at the Old Talbott Inn & Gift Shop. The Bourbon Bar was an authentic Kentucky Tavern experience, with a great selection, fair prices, and a very friendly staff (see menu pictures for selection). And the food was simply outstanding! . The Old Talbott Inn dates back to 1779 and has hosted some prominent names throughout American history, names such as Abraham Lincoln, Jesse James, and General George Patton. We spent our last night on the @KentuckyBourbonTrail at the Old Talbott Inn & Gift Shop in Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World. Bardstown, Kentucky was also named by the @USAToday as the Most Beautiful Small Town in America. . We stayed in the Jesse James Room, which still had bullet holes in the wall from one of James' drunken evenings playing cards. The Old Talbott Inn dates back to 1779 and has hosted some prominent names through the years such as Abraham Lincoln, Jesse James, and General George Patton.
