“Churches give me the urge to burn them down.” A childhood trauma and growing up with overly religious parents was enough for Carmilla to detest such places, although being a vampire, as cliche as that was, did play into it too. And so instead she had preferred to leave out attending the actual wedding ceremony. “We would not want any accidents to happen, after all.” A raise of a brow and an ambitious smile. Carmilla could feel it, there was something in the air and it would be exciting.

His mouth was covered in blood and his long body was shivering and winding in it's snake like form as he trashed on the ground between the trees, his tail slamming against the hard wood, doing more damage than anything else. Several dead bodies of strange creatures formed a trail right up to him, one lifeless body just sliding off of him, having left a knife in his side.

Haku could feel it pulsing through him, the poison that was spreading through his veins, numbing his mind and body, but not enough for stark green eyes to shoot toward another presence and a garbled snarl came with a puff from his nostrils. But there was no helping it, he couldn't keep up this form so slowly he shrunk back, limbs formed on the torso of what looked like a human now, a young man drenched in blood, coughing and feeling too little air could reach his lungs. “Leave..-”

“It is fine to say it.” Haku sighed softly yet despite the topic wanted to sound like it left him cold, like it had no effect on him and yet it was obvious that it must have. “We have no idea who I really am, not you, not me and it will stay that way until the end of my times- if there is an end.” One thing he knew was that he was old yet unchanging. So many questions, so little answers.  “There is no need for sadness, I should not feel such a void inside, should I? I am here, in the now, living, so why does a past matter so much? Would it make me feel whole?” Too many questions, it was probably best to move on with the topic. “Right, we should get you home now. We can go swimming another day.” Talking really let the time fly, sun already setting on the horizon and the water of the lake before them was taking on the shadows of the rising night.

The mood felt somewhat tense. Not over all, but something about the evening seemed to impend something heavy up ahead and in a few corners, even a man as nonchalant about danger as Aladdin noticed it. Even more so. Abu, who had rushed off of his shoulder early on, now returned to him by jumping from one of the tables, clinging to the prince’s neck, welcomed with a brush of his finger over the small head in a gentle scratch. “Yeah, buddy, I feel it too.” Shifting from one leg to the other, he thought it was best to see where his wife had gone as he turned, running straight into a person which ended with a piece of cake to his face and a cold shower of two glasses of champagne dripping from his head onto his golden attire with its red accents. Luckily Aladdin was not one of anger as instead he scopped some of the cream off his cheek and gave it a taste. "Hmm, vanilla?"

A monkey. That was definitely a monkey that was rushing between busy legs, up raking curtains and then swinging from one chandelier to the other just to land on the ground again. Nox saw it all, they had an eye for the strange and chaotic, a confused “Abu?” audible in the distance from a fancy looking man clad in gold. There was no way the daemon could resist following the little creature as their tall frame bowed down and crept through the masses, casually pushing up a big skirt that turned out to be in their way, the last obstacle that the had observed the little one pass. A screech, several, as they pushed up and away more skirts, clearly uncaring of common courtesy. The hunt after Otto could wait as now they were fixed on grabbing the monkey, pushing even tables to the side. Had it not been for all the things in the way, his speed would have been no match for the animal.

“Oh?” A single touch was enough, a single brush of her finger against the neck of the glass sent a wave of frost over the whole tablet, the temperature so low it burned the waiters fingers who threw it to the ground in an instant while Neve simply observed. Luckily for the music playing, only the closest guests around were drawn by the sound. What was the right way to respond to this? The queen stood, a glass of solid wine in one hand and her icy gaze cast toward the employee. “Soon.” Soon that would be the sensation all living creatures would experience. The mission of not drawing attention to herself seemed harder than expected, though.
