“Churches give me the urge to burn them down.” A childhood trauma and growing up with overly religious parents was enough for Carmilla to detest such places, although being a vampire, as cliche as that was, did play into it too. And so instead she had preferred to leave out attending the actual wedding ceremony. “We would not want any accidents to happen, after all.” A raise of a brow and an ambitious smile. Carmilla could feel it, there was something in the air and it would be exciting.

THE ROYAL WEDDING!

APOLLO AGNES : in the company of hermes ( @littlevcper ) and the beautiful muses, apollo goes to the wedding not only with the hopes that he’s gonna listen to some good music ( and maybe play some too ), but also in hopes that he can give the couple his blessings.

AHREUM CHOI : the vampire goes to the wedding in the company of her husband ( @omuse ) and their family ( @lcstbov & @terrvrs ), making sure to wear all red ( as usual in festive occasions ) because she knows her tears would stain any other color --- weddings always make her feel emotional, but her gratitude towards king arthur only makes her feel even more vulnerable.

RAPHAEL ELTON : as a resident of camelot, the watchmaker couldn’t miss the wedding of his king and future queen. raphael doesn’t have company, but he’s hopeful that he won’t be alone during the whole event...

OTTO ALBA : against his will, otto goes to the wedding in the company of nox ( @codexq ). in fact, he had planned on going to the wedding but not in the circumstances he’s in at the moment... in his owl form, he has a leash attached to his feet that limits him from flying too far, but at least his stomach is full and he looks way healthier than before.

"Would you be kind an pass me a drink sugar?” She tapped the figure in front of her on the shoulder. The scent of mint would greet them if they were close enough and green eyes peered through her mask. “Surprise me with the kind, I don’t mind just didn’t want to get in the way.” She smiled- there were a few others around the table and she didn’t want to shove past it was easier just to ask. She may not have recognized the figure in front of her but that rarely stopped Minthe and her demeanor anyway.

The fae yawned as he entered the ballroom. For once, he didn’t bother to worry about guards looks. Hypnos had a long day in a nursery prior and he was still feeling groggy. He saw the table and smiled. It looked so welcoming. Hypnos took off his mask before settling in the spot. “A fifteen minute nap never hurt anyone.” He said before stilfing another yawn. Laying his head against the table, he closed his eyes. 

Some time passed before he felt something on his shoulder. Hypnos slowly groaned as he woke up. 

“Why did you wake me up?” He asked, sleepy eyes still not seeing the figure.

with his apron tucked and folded neatly beneath his arm, he stands in line, waiting patiently for the next baking competition of the day. he nibbles away at what’s left of his funnel cake, occasionally stopping to dust the powdered sugar off of his shirt before taking another bite.

 “you know,” he huffs, turning to face the person in line behind him, “these things would be so much better if they had a chocolate drizzle, don’t you think? sure, it’s a lot of sugar, and i don’t mean to complain —– but if you’re going to eat something sweet, why not go all out?”
