So.

What do you do when you see a popular blog has just... taken one of your colorings and simply edited it enough for it not to look like it’s stolen?

Obviously, no one would notice. No one but the original colorer. I know the colors I used. I recognize the white outline I loved doing on my colorings. Heck, even the background color is the same.

Some people are ungrateful and so fucking shameless.

I’m this close to just deleting this blog off the face of the planet, but I also don’t want to, because I’ve been pouring my soul into it for 3, maybe even 4 years now, I’m not quite sure. So yeah, I’ve been around for a while, I loved creating for so many different fandoms, but when creators start stealing from other creators - that’s when things start getting too messed up for me.

You never realize how many porn bots follow you until Tumblr decides to do a purge™ and you lose 50+ followers overnight.

Something I dislike about Tumblr is that unless you’re a popular/relevant blog, no one really cares about what’s going on with you. People just reblog and reblog and then keep reblogging encouraging posts, but that’s it. You can just disappear off the face of the planet and no one would bat an eyelash. Someone can be dealing with something bad, but some people would find this to be the perfect time to shamelessly promote something in the askbox of said person. Don’t get me wrong, I know creators need exposure, I really do, but sometimes what they do leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The theme of family has been present in pretty much every route so far, but I have to admit I love its representation in Saeran’s story the most. In some of the routes and after endings, marriage and kids have been mentioned on a few occasions and while I know many players find that fascinating, it has an opposite effect on me. It drags me out of the story and puts me in real life again.

Saeran’s route is different and that is especially prominent in his calls on day 10 and 11. What he cares about is true love and happiness in their purest form. He’s been through so much in his life that he’s realized what he needs is the peace and comfort that come with just being under the same sky as the one who understands him the most in this world. That, my friends, is exactly the thing I needed to experience through this game.

Ok, guys.

I usually try to deal with such things quietly, but I’m so fucking fed up with people’s bs that I decided to make this post.

So a week ago I posted a set of Nalu wallpapers (click). Then a few days later I saw another Tumblr user post some very similar wallpapers (click). Now, even though I felt a bit bothered by this, I managed to convince myself that this is okay. After all, I don’t own this particular editing style or anything... So I moved on.

Until this morning when I saw this set of wallpapers. Now let’s compare them to this post of mine from a while ago.

So that brings us to my question.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?

Why do you think it’s okay to do that? Why do you think it’s okay to copy my works, edit them a tiny bit and then watermark them as your own? Huh?

Absolutely disrespectful and ridiculous.

So, @mad-sakhalin, WHAT’S GOOD?

Friendly reminder that it’s not cool to edit over someone else’s graphics or gifs and even remove their watermark. It might not seem like it, but we graphic makers invest a lot of time and hard work in our edits, so please show some respect.

A couple of nights ago my roommate and I were talking about conspiracies and she was telling me about the Yanny & Laurel one. At that time, I didn’t know she heard about it in one of Shane’s conspiracy videos, but then last night that same video in which he talked about that same conspiracy appeared in my suggested videos. I don’t follow him, hell, I didn’t even know he’s started making such videos, but holy shit did that make me grin like an idiot.

So Shane, friend, here’s another conspiracy to talk about!

Saeran’s route left me emotionally drained, but I enjoyed pretty much every second of it.

He’s finally free and happy and healthy and that’s all I ever wanted for him.
