I hate having talented friends sometimes. Because I am absolutely shit at complimenting people because I’m autistic and words of affirmation is NOT my love language. And apparently screaming at them doesn’t count as complimenting them.

What animal and/or flower do you associate with Tempest? If any? Can also be multiples!

Let’s start with the flower, since that’s something no one has asked me before: At first, I played with the idea of Tempest being known as “the Blue Rose of Baldur’s Gate,” a nod to her family’s connection to those flowers. It would hint at her unattainability, rarity, and beauty. (Her family running PR; arranging marriage pacts). She spent a couple of years turning down suitors as often as people change their socks.

But after giving it some more thought, I decided on something a little closer to home — my favorite flower: Protea cynaroides. It represents resilience, courage and transformation.

Now let’s take a walk on the wild side: Tempest is associated with birds of prey, both natural and supernatural. For example, the storm spirit is described as a thunderbird (not the thunderbird), a titan of the skies capable of shaping and destroying the landscape around it.

"Hahaha! I don't think anyone is interested in seeing me bare some skin! At least no one has said anything to me about it~"

He shakes his head and sips at his mug of chai, the cinnamon notes swirling with a hint of honey. Full lips pursed up in a smile as he licks up the sweet taste.

"Naw. I'm working security this time around. Gonna be a spicy show that night, so we're making sure everything is safe for everyone involved. We got an amazing lineup this time around with many of our talented members, so there'll be plenty more to see than just my handsome mug~"
