What are they?

Verb aspects are...a thing...that indicates something to do with whether an action is completed or ongoing...sort of? So like, ‘she was reading’ vs ‘she read this book’ or ‘at seven he will be cooking’ vs ‘by seven he will have cooked dinner’ if I’m understanding correctly.

I might be missing stuff with that in which case one of my Russian-knowing followers feel free to jump in haha

What kind of bats do you work with?

Sadly I’m no longer working with them, but while I did I worked with Malayan flying foxes, variable flying foxes, Indian flying foxes, gray-headed flying foxes, Rodrigues fruit bats, little golden-mantled flying foxes, straw-colored fruit bats, Egyptian fruit bats, dog-faced fruit bats, and one spectacled flying fox.

Edit: Prior to that, I mist-netted for bats in Ohio and caught big brown and little brown bats, eastern red bats, northern long-eared bats, tricolor bats, and one hoary bat.

Um um lessee.... I’m usually an advice-giver in my friend groups, but not really in the “mom friend” advice way. It’s more mentor-y advice usually. Back in high school, one of my friends gave us all little roles within the friend group and I was the “teacher.”

Doll ❧ do you collect anything?

I used to collect miniatures! Like, just, mini anything. Instead of money when I lost a tooth, I’d always ask the “tooth fairy” for a mini instead. I kinda still collect pins (or buttons), but I don’t really collect anything else. When I’m able to support myself, I’d love to collect instruments.

Blood ❧ What is the worst injury you’ve gotten?

Um... So, worst visible injury was a sprained ankle when I was like... 9. Worst injury overall was probably when I got hit in the neck with a lacrosse ball. It didn’t bruise amazingly enough, but I could only whisper for the next week and a half or so, couldn’t play oboe (I was in band and orchestra at the time), and it hurt a bit to breathe so there was probably internal bruising. It healed up fine though. 

Candle ❧ what is your favorite scent?

Ummmm so I really like pomegranate smell, but also cherry blossoms? And coconut (even though I hate the taste of coconut). Also, I wouldn’t use it for a fragrance in perfume or anything, but I really like the smell of fish markets haha That last one is really weird. Ignore that.

1: About someone I think is cute: Ummm he has long curly hair that smells like lemons.

14: Something I like about my body: Tbh I like my arms? Like maybe that’s a weird thing to like, but I like my small wrists and that I’m stronger than I look. 

22: My favorite drink: Well right now I think my favorite drink is just… Ice water with a bit of lemon juice in it. Idk it tastes sharp and I like that.

36: My favorite video game: Ooh it’s a tie between FE:Fates (which is kinda cheating because there’s like three whole games there) and DA:Inquisition! I like how much projecting of myself (or, like, who I want to be) I can do onto the protags in Inquisition, and Dorian is my love. Fire Emblem is nice because even though the characters aren’t like, super in-depth (although some of them aren’t bad), I still get really into their interactions and stuff

41: A pet I have: I only have one pet right now and it’s my cat! I think she’s turning 14 this year? Maybe even 15. She sleeps a lot and is a bit more whiny than she was a few years ago, but she shows love in these subtle, cute ways. Like when I go away for college every fall, she sleeps on my bed until my parents take the sheets off (they delay taking the sheets off because she gets sad if they do).

50: Anything: I really don’t know. Uhhh… I’m trying to get back into writing a bit? I really want people to read my stuff so I have a blog for the story I’m working on, but I haven’t posted anything to tumblr about it. I’m trying to decide if I should.
